The media seems curiously uninterested in the latest Obama administration bombshell. This past week, Politico published a report that President Obama helped derail an investigation into a drug trafficking ring waged by Hezbollah in order to protect his nuclear deal with Iran. The effort, entitled Project Cassandra, began in 2008 following evidence from the Drug Enforcement Administration. Investigators went under cover to track the alleged drug and weapons trafficking but were slowed by White House officials who were dragging their feet. In their pursuit to ease tensions with Iran, the Obama administration "let Hezbollah off the hook."
Politico's reporting was both shocking and intriguing, but their contemporaries and mainstream broadcast networks have not exactly jumped on the story.
In the days since it was first published, the New York Times has treated it as a non-story. The Washington Post’s sole article on it consisted of a blog post, by one of its liberal opinion writers, devoted to quotes from Obama-administration alumni dismissing both Meyer and his sources as neoconservative propaganda without actually refuting any of the story’s main points. The broadcast channels and the liberal news channels have similarly avoided the scandal.Congress certainly hasn't ignored the scandal. Rep. Ron DeSantis's (R-FL)'s National Security Subcommittee is in the process of sending letters to government agencies demanding answers as to how and why the Obama White House disrupted the anti-Hezbollah effort.

Judging by the media's underreporting of the Fast and Furious scandal under Obama's DOJ, it perhaps should be no surprise that there have been a paltry amount of headlines for the Hezbollah drug trafficking cover up.

Blog Author's Comments: When it comes to Obama and the media it is always the same, lie by omission. Some broadcast licensing needs to be redistributed so America receives complete, professionally reported news. I suspect his 'black privilege' will keep him clear of any repercussions no matter how much evidence would be verified and presented. McDonough said Obama was 'historically free of scandal', what drugs is he using?
What about Solyndra, IRS, Fast and Furious, private servers, Benghazi, Syria, ISIS? And this is just touching the surface of the 'scandals' by the worst president ever. No scandals at all? AG Sessions is not heard from and I know he would never go after Obama. Why Sessions is still the Attorney General? That question would have to be asked of President Trump. To be fair, the NY Times didn't have room to print it the story. 'Obama helped derail an investigation into a drug trafficking ring waged by Hezbollah in order to protect his nuclear deal with Iran.' They had to make space for yet another fake story about President Trump attributed to anonymous sources. Priorities, people.
Obama was elected because the public was tired of hearing how they are horrible racists, and being constantly hammered by the crooked media. Also, because he is partially black and ran against John McCain. Many voters, who had never voted before, thought it would be a historically good thing to vote for the first ‘Black’ president, without knowing anything about him.
So the public elected Obama to prove the crooked media was wrong. He is also a socialist/communist community organizer, who presented himself (by his handlers) as an African American and fooled 98% of the real African Americans and many others as well. What I still do not understand is how he received a second term after he showed what he intended to do during his first four years in office.
