President Trump: "Members of the alliance must finally contribute their fair share and meet their financial obligations. Twenty-three of the 28 member nations are still not paying what they should be paying and what they are supposed to be paying for their defense. This is not fair to the people and taxpayers of the United States.”
From Them For Not Contributing Their Fair Share
The United States and Estonia are the only countries respecting their pledge to pay 2% of GDP to cover NATO costs.
Blog Author's Comments: It's good that the United States after forty years finally has another real president. Too bad we had the evil, little wimp during the past eight years, what the hell were the people who voted for him thinking? I am sure that most of the Europeans are not properly educated on how much they depend on the US. We are for the most part depicted in a negative way and blamed for things that are not our fault, while the US is almost never depicted in a positive way and given its due credit. So many Europeans take the US for granted believing we will always be there to help them.
Throw in an old-school tough guy like Trump who has been at odds with the New York Mafia trying to intimidate him every time he wanted to build a new structure, and the difference between the current president and his predecessor is night and day. President Trump is again correct, freedom is not free. It's time for Europe to pay for theirs. But, they have brought a lot of problems on themselves by opening their doors to Islam, which is what Trump is fighting against in our country. As soon as they are in the country it is extremely difficult, if not impossible to rid our country of them.
Islam, is called by some as the religion of peace. But it doesn’t seem to work out that way, no matter where they go. The world needed a leader and the USA delivered one, it's now time for NATO to pay up or continue to live as they have been and the US should just worry about our country and a few hand picked allies. So many countries in NATO are not meeting their agreement. Why has this been allowed to continue for so many years? This is just one of the reasons why Trump said that the US had some of the stupidest deal makers. President Trump is right; the time has come to end welfare to the freeloader Europeans.
