NFL Super Bowl 50 - Denver Broncos vs. Carolina Panthers - Feb. 07

Blog Author's Comments -- The National Football League certainly has changed since I have been watching it for over sixty years. There are so many prima donnas playing now. When they make a tackle, catch a pass or score a touchdown, which is what they are being paid huge salaries to do, almost all of them do their rehearsed celebration.

As the great Alabama coach 'Bear' Bryant said - "When you get in the end zone, act like you've been there." But I am still watching and will tune in to my 50th Super Bowl game. The Carolina Panthers are the favorites, but I will be rooting for the Denver Broncos because of their quarterback. Peyton Manning is one of the greatest quarterbacks ever to play the game.

Fox News Totally Fair And Balanced? I Don't Think So...

Megyn Kelly's Obsessive Hate For Donald Trump

Blog Author's Comments -- This is who Fox News is defending as “unbiased” and “fair” – worthy to moderate a Presidential Debate. Just watch Megyn Kelly’s repeated unprofessional statements about Donald Trump.

Now, if she wants to admit she is a partisan with a negative point of view about Donald Trump, that’s fine. But she and Fox News are trying to present her as the face of the network, a down-the-middle journalist, who can fairly moderate a Presidential Debate.

More Information Concerning The Fair And Balanced Fox News:

Fox employee Bill Sammon is a Fox News Vice President and in charge of the Fox News debates and questioning. His daughter, Brooke Sammon, is Marco Rubio's Press Secretary.
Donald Trump is not 'afraid' of Megyn Kelly. I believe what led to Trump saying 'I don't like it when people play games with me' and boycotting the debate, is the statement put out by Fox News below:
FOX NEWS: “We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president,” Fox News said in the statement, adding this gem: “A nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings.”

Hillary: Obama On The Supreme Court Is A 'Great Idea'

Truth Revolt -- On the campaign stump in Iowa, Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was asked by an audience member about putting President Obama on the Supreme Court if she were to win the presidential race. She responded, “I’ll tell you, that’s a great idea!” Clinton told the crowd.

She also said no one had ever asked her that question before.
"Cautioning that Obama likely has other plans for his post-White House life, the former secretary of state continued her recent pattern of tying herself closely to the current president."
Hillary used the opportunity to talk about how important it is to elect a Democrat president for the sake of appointing Supreme Court justices.

She did warn it might not be so easy to get President Obama confirmed by the current GOP Senate.

Still, “I would certainly take that under advisement,” she said of the man who would be the first former president on the Supreme Court since William Howard Taft. “He is brilliant and can set forth an argument."

Blog Author's Comments -- This is yet another reason along with the rest of her illegal and unprofessional baggage during her political career, even for some thinking Democrats, for not voting for Hillary Clinton. Another liberal Supreme Court Justice would be the end of our country and the Republican Party.

Obama would not want to be a Justice on the Supreme Court, he may have to work which he would not want to do, he does not work as the President. America haters like Obama study the Constitution to find ways to get around it rather than to obey and enforce it. This underscores the extreme importance of nominating a Republican candidate who can win the general election. And that candidate in my learned opinion is Donald Trump.

Blog Author's Comments -- It seems quite clear to me that conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh is in the corner of Sen. Ted Cruz, who is currently in second place in the Republican campaign for the nomination for the 2016 election, if one can believe the polling data.

I think he has picked Cruz because of his supposedly conservative values and Limbaugh prides himself on being Mr. Conservative. Apparently he does not believe Donald Trump is conservative enough. Would someone tell me what the so-called conservative politicians have done for the country during the past two decades? If Ted Cruz wins the GOP nomination I don't believe he can defeat Hillary Clinton and we will have the continuation of the Obama regime for at least four more years.

UPDATE: Due to the severity of bias within the Fox agenda, candidate Donald Trump has stated his attendance at the next debate is still undetermined:

Donald Trump's FOX Debate Boycott
This Was The Sarcastic Statement By FOX Which Caused Donald Trump To Reconsider His Attendance At The Debate.

What Donald Trump is saying about the above press release is if this is the way a news organization conducts itself, that is going to host the debate and provide the debate moderators, I don't want to be or need to be a part of it. No doubt their viewership for the debate and the advertising fees they charge will drop considerably without him in attendance.

Black Lives Matter Calls Blue Lives Matter Billboard 'Disrespectful'

Truth Revolt -- A billboard on Brainerd Road in Chattanooga that proclaims “Blue Lives Matter” and features the badges of the Chattanooga Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is causing some local controversy, according to GOPUSA.

Responses to the billboard are divided between those who appreciate the message as a gesture of gratitude to local law enforcement, and those who feel it is an affront to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Charlie Hunt at Lookout Advertising said his company created the advertisement and put it up on their digital billboard about three months ago as a way to honor police and counter negative publicity he’s seen surrounding law enforcement, notes GOPUSA. The police department and sheriff’s office did not pay for the billboard, nor did they even know about it beforehand.

“We did not want to divide anybody or anything, especially with this Black Lives Matter,” said Hunt. “All lives matter, and there is nothing racial about that.”

That seems reasonable, but Norman Williams begs to differ. The man who has organized efforts in Chattanooga urging gang members to stop the violence said that the sign felt like a personal attack from law enforcement. “It’s disrespectful,” he said. “All lives matter, but we’re the ones getting killed."

The thought that a positive message about law enforcement is "disrespectful" to the Black Lives Matter movement would be comical if it weren't so outrageous.

On Wednesday, Williams started receiving calls and social media comments about the billboard, many of them expressing violent anger:
“They wanted to tear it down, to burn it down, but I was like, we don’t need to take that approach. There are other ways.”
Sheriff Jim Hammond addressed the billboard in a statement:
“I feel it’s great that so many people across this country, including our own county, want to recognize our local law enforcement community and all first responders who put their lives on the line for our citizens every day."
For some reason, academics were asked to weigh in - as if their opinion matters, as if they have any special insight about the issue, and as if we don't already know where they stand on it.

Robert DurĂ¡n, professor of criminology at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, complained that the billboard “is diverting attention away from the problem of policing of the black community. It’s minimizing to trade one experience with the other when they are totally different.”

Lois Presser, associate head of the sociology department at UT, said that the billboard is co-opting the language of the Black Lives Matter movement but taking it out of context:
“[Black Lives Matters activists] are making a historical statement, savvy to the history of police and minorities in the United States. To say ‘all lives matter’ or ‘blue lives matter’ is to take the whole thing out of context.”
On the contrary, the statement "Blue Lives Matter" puts the "Black Lives Matter" movement into the proper context. It reminds people of the reality that cops are under siege every day, and it is a positive counterpoint to the rising tide of anti-police sentiment in this country, stoked by the Black Lives Matter movement and the Obama administration itself.
Blog Author's Comments -- Black lives will matter when the blacks clean up their communities, ridding it of the guns, drugs, crime, prostitution, illiteracy, fatherless families and murder of fellow blacks. Whites aren't doing those things. The police aren't doing those things. America and whites can only do so much (with our tax dollars) for those willing to ride in the wagon of entitlement or lay in the bed of the social welfare safety net.

At some point they have got to do something for themselves, their family, and their community and take some responsibility. Anyone born after 1965 who blames his or her plight on others or racism, whether they know it or not, is no more than an ignorant follower on the Democratic plantation right where the Party wants them, regurgitating the socialist agenda. The Black Lives Matter crowd needs to earn respect not demand what they want and expect it to be given to them.

The Donald Trump Bashers Don't Believe He Is Conservative Enough...

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File,” National Review editor Rich Lowry rolled out his magazine’s effort to challenge Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s bid to be the eventual Republican nominee.

Lowry told host Megyn Kelly, who has had her own dust-ups with Trump, that their intent was to rally conservatives against Trump because they saw him as susceptible to special interests.

Rush Limbaugh: Being Loyal
To The GOP Hasn't Worked

Blog Author's Comments -- Megyn Kelly does not like Donald Trump so she will do all she can to undermine him. This won't work, it will only show how foolish and full of herself she is. The National Review magazine is dying, certainly not what it was when founded some sixty years ago by William F. Buckley.

What has the conservatives done during the last 15 or more years to help those who considered themselves conservative? Nothing! They would sooner vote for Hillary Clinton than Donald .J Trump who is the only GOP candidate saying what so many of the American people want to hear and want to have done by our government.

It is time for Donald Trump to stop his input with everyone who may voice an opinion about and against him. He has made some comments during the past few days which were not necessary and may come back to bite him. He is in a good position, if one can believe the polls, so he needs to continue to campaign and tell the people what he will do for them and answer their questions. Chastising everyone who makes a snarky remark about him will not help his quest for the nomination.

Democrats Vote To Let Terrorists In!

Conservative Daily -- Absolutely unbelievable. Yesterday, the Democrats blocked the American SAFE Act from receiving a final vote in the Senate.

This is the bill that would have forced the Federal government to perform more rigorous background checks on Syrian and Iraqi refugees entering the country. Apparently, that's too much for Harry Reid and the Democrats. Apparently, ensuring that terrorists are kept out of the country is too much to ask.

55 Senators voted for the bill, just shy of the 60 required to end debate. The Democrats filibustered it. They are completely content with letting terrorists slip through.

This cannot stand. Already, GOP leadership is saying that the bill is dead. They are giving up fighting for this!
Blog Author's Comments -- Obviously Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan have surrendered on this. On Wednesday, Senate Democrats successfully and predictably blocked what many conservatives described as Rep. Paul Ryan's "Show Vote" on refugee admissions.

It has been called a show vote because the Ryan plan, even if the President signed it, would still allow the President to bring in an unlimited number of refugees from an unlimited number of countries.

Democrats’ filibuster on the motion to proceed to Ryan’s show vote comes one month after Speaker Ryan sent President Obama a blank check to fund visa issuances to nearly 300,000 (temporary and permanent) Muslim migrants in the next 12 months alone. Ryan’s decision to fully-fund Obama’s immigration agenda arguably ceded any leverage he may otherwise have had over Democrats and ensured the large-scale migration into America would continue and grow.

Ryan’s bill, known as the American SAFE Act, was blocked.[...]

Ryan’s inability to develop a winning strategy suggests he failed at what he has called the “first duty of the government.” Ryan declared after the SAFE Act’s initial passage in the House:
The first duty of our government is to keep the American people safe. That’s why, today, the House will vote on a plan to pause our Syrian refugee program… If our law enforcement and intelligence community cannot verify that each and every person coming here is not a security threat, then they shouldn’t be allowed in. Right now, the government can’t certify these standards, so this plan pauses the program. It’s a security test—not a religious test. This reflects our values. This reflects our responsibilities. And this is urgent. We cannot and should not wait to act—not when our national security is at stake.
Ryan informed the press that he had “reached out to our Democratic colleagues” in crafting the plan, and touted his acquisition a “veto-proof majority”—which no longer seems relevant since the Senate blocked further movement on the bill.

Even if the Republicans win the White House in November this gives Obama and the Democrats an entire year with an open door to the illegals. And many of them are sure to be terrorists.

Line From State Of The Union Address Was Not Amusing

Why was this line even in the State of the Union address?

Obama: “Of course, a great education isn’t all we need in this new economy. We also need benefits and protections that provide a basic measure of security. After all, it’s not much of a stretch to say that some of the only people in America, who are going to work the same job, in the same place, with a health and retirement package, for 30 years, are sitting in this chamber. For everyone else, especially folks in their 40s and 50s, saving for retirement or bouncing back from job loss has gotten a lot tougher.”

Blog Author's Comments -- Hey folks, wake up! They are laughing at the people who sent them there. And this is why "bouncing back from a job loss has become a lot tougher." Barack Hussein Obama and the Democrats are the main reason why there are so many people out of the work force. But, it is both parties who are responsible for the state of the economy.

This is why we need someone who has not spent years in Washington D.C. and government, as the next president and that is why I believe Donald Trump should be the nominee for the Republican Party. I am not troubled that he can defeat whoever the nominee for the Democrat Party happens to be.

Rubio: Non-Felon Illegal Aliens Could Stay

Politico -- Sen. Marco Rubio says people who immigrated to the U.S. illegally but haven’t committed any major crimes could be allowed to stay.

In an interview airing Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” the Florida contender for the Republican presidential nomination said felons shouldn’t be allowed to stay, but those who commit lesser crimes could still qualify. In this interview, he didn’t specify whether those allowed to stay would ever be able to become citizens.

“If you’re a criminal alien, no, you can’t stay. If you’re someone that hasn’t been here for a very long time, you can’t stay,” he said. “I don’t think you’re gonna round up and deport 12 million people.”

Rubio’s somewhat fluid position on immigration has been a target for his opponents because he was part of the Gang of Eight lawmakers who worked on the 2013 immigration reform bill, which included a path to citizenship.

“If circumstances change or you learn something along the way, it’s reasonable to say, ‘Maybe a different approach will work better,’” Rubio said. “So, for example, on immigration it is clear no comprehensive solution to immigration is going to pass.”
Blog Author's Comments -- There you have it, Marco Rubio has washed himself out of the race for the Republican nomination and I am not one who is concerned about it. Ever since he was a member of the 'Gang of Eight' I have not considered him a serious contender for the nomination for a presidency.

A few things have to happen to stop all illegals from entering the U.S. and this can be done. Seal the borders, deny all public programs to illegals, fines and than jail time for employers of illegals. Hopefully once all of this is accomplished many of the illegals will have self-deported.

The most important item which has to happen to save the country and the GOP is for the right person to win the nomination and defeat Hillary Clinton for the office of president. Once this is accomplished the president can begin to remove the illegals and the laws put in place via executive action by Barack Obama. But none of this is going to happen until the so-called leaders of the GOP can back the person for the nomination that the voters want.

The Republican Party Should Want To Win With Donald Trump

Trump Acknowledges His Support Has Surprised Him
But None Of It Matters Unless He Wins The Presidency

"The Real Donald Trump Story"

Blog Author's Comments -- What we are witnessing is the moment when what the opposition wants, runs into the reality of what is going to happen. Candidate Donald Trump is going to win the GOP nomination, and with it – The White House.

All of Trump’s political opponents, ideological opponents, and transparently visible media opponents are, at various points in the next several weeks, going to have to admit the obvious – He has beaten them.

I believe that the RNC and Republican Establishment would rather lose the 2016 presidential election than win it with Donald Trump. As for the Republican Party this was supposed to be the nomination of Jeb Bush or perhaps Marco Rubio. I do not care for either of these candidates because the GOP has to win the presidency and it won't happen with either of these two.

The Republican Party Used The State Of The Union Response By
Governor Nikki Haley To Bash GOP Frontrunner Donald Trump

Governor Nikki Haley delivered the response last night to Barack Obama’s final SOTU Address.

Rather than focus on Barack Obama’s nasty remarks and attacks on Republican politicians the GOP last night focused their attention on bashing Donald Trump.

And they wonder why conservatives don’t trust them?

Donald Trump Reacts To Obama's State Of The Union Jab

Rush Limbaugh: Haley's SOTU Response Is The
Greatest Evidence That GOP Is Anti-Conservative

Blog Author's Comments -- Republican Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, and Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, personally selected South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley to deliver the State of The Union rebuttal/attack on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. Ryan and McConnell also personally approved the script. Donald Trump is the leading GOP presidential candidate, and has been in the lead for over six months; he is supported by the majority of the party base. Ryan, McConnell and Haley are attacking their own electorate. Exceptionally typical of aloof Establishment Republicans.

They are all part of the 'uniparty.' They don’t care what ordinary Americans think or feel. And the GOP rebuttal was translated into Spanish and contained promises that were not in Halley’s speech. She should have stuck to fact checking Obama's lies and stayed away from comments on candidates. But then, who was even watching her? It wasn't as if the SOTU was a great lead in for her airtime. Another Republican goes off the rails. All the RINO's should be careful, Donald J. Trump could well be the nominee, no matter how hard they are working to defeat him, and win the presidency and some of them could find themselves in trouble.

Obama: "There Are No Existential Threats" To The
United States, And That Includes ISIS And "Radical Islam"

Mediaite -- In an interview with NBC’s Today on the morning of his final State of the Union address, President Barack Obama told interviewer Matt Lauer that the United States didn’t face a single existential threat as his presidency approached its end.

“It is sometimes important for people to step back and measure how far we’ve come,” Obama argued. “The economy right now is better than any other economy in the world by a significant margin. We remain the strongest nation on earth by far and there are no existential threats facing us.”

“If we make some good choices now, whoever the next president is, whoever is controlling the next Congress there, there’s no reason why we shouldn’t own the 21st century,” he said.

Lauer went on to ask Obama specifically about the threat posed by ISIS and other terror groups. “Your daughters are young ladies. When they get to be your age, President Obama, do you believe in your heart that they will be living in a world that is dealing with the threat of radical Islam on a daily basis?”

“I am absolutely confident we will have defeated ISIL,” Obama responded. “I don’t think we have to wait until they are 54 for that to happen.”
Blog Author's Comments -- He cannot be that clueless, he is continuing to lie as he has during his entire presidency. Obama is the threat to the United States, it's not 'existential', it's real and it's in the White House. There is also a real threat to our American way of life. Unfortunately, this president is just fine with that.

Obama has turned the Middle East into a mess and created a real refugee crisis in the U.S. with his open door to the illegals. He can't lie his way out of that. And those who can stand to watch and listen to his final SOTU address will hear many of the same comments he made during this interview.

Hillary Clinton: ‘Fog Of War’...

Clinton told "This Week" viewers, concerning the Benghazi attack, that she suffered from a military phenomenon known as the 'fog of war'. There was speculation that she tried to mask the motive of the terrorists by claiming that the attacks were in retaliation for an anti-Islamic film made prior to the event.

Hillary has since recounted her comments about the film and has testified that the attacks were premeditated.

She was asked if she told the victims' families that the attack was in response to the film. In her response, she cited that she suffered from a military phenomenon know as the 'fog of war' where an individual is experiencing a mental overload. When the volume of the data received is greater than the speed at which this information can be processed, it creates a fog or twilight.

“No… this was a fast moving series of events in the ‘fog of war’,” she said

Hillary Clinton: I Didn't Lie To Benghazi

How does the 'fog of war' even make sense? She was in her house in DC, not some foxhole. Hillary Clinton is a documented, life long serial liar. Marco Rubio: My Senate Votes "Don't Count"

Shark Tank -- Most Americans may not remember back in 2010 when then-Senate candidate Marco Rubio was running on a “Washington is broken” and “Reclaim America” platform, but Floridians who voted for the junior Senator sure do.

Appearing on the Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends,” Rubio was asked to discuss the recent attacks he has endured about his missed votes in the Senate as he runs for president.

Washington is completely broken, and that’s why I’m running for president, because these votes taken in Washington they don’t count. -Senator Marco Rubio

Rubio then added, “half the things that happen in Washington are for show and for talk.”

Dude, even if it’s true, don’t say it. Really? Who wants to hear this from their sitting Senator?

Maybe Rubio should have quit the Senate to run for president.

So, Rubio believes the votes he was elected to take, and paid for by the American taxpayer “don’t count,” and is admitting that “half the things” he has done while a sitting U.S. Senator has just been for “show?”

Remember, Rubio wanted this job, and actually stated on numerous occasions that he wanted to be a U.S. Senator to help fix a “broken” Washington.

Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz, who hasn’t complained about the job he was elected to do, and billionaire Donald Trump, are both at the very top of the field of 2016 Republican presidential candidates in just about all of the early primary and caucus states.
Blog Author's Comments -- His votes didn't count because he didn't make them count. All those votes came with consequences which effected the American public. Washington is corrupt and broken and Rubio isn't even close to being the one to fix it.

Being a Senator is not just warming a seat and pulling the yea / nay lever occasionally. It is a position of leadership, as each Senator debates with his contemporaries to swing them to a certain position in a debate. These days, Rubio occasionally warms his Senate seat, while exhibiting little leadership in the Senate. His last leadership move that I recall is being a part of the gang of 8, Democrats and RINO's (Bennet, Schumer, McCain, Graham, Durbin, Flake, Menendez and Rubio). They were pushing to help the illegals and give them a path to citizenship. Do we want to elect a president who would do that?

Gallup Poll: Only 2% Say 'Guns/Gun Control'
Among Nation's Most Important Problems

CNS News -- As President Obama prepares to announce new executive actions on gun control Monday, a newly released Gallup Poll shows that "guns/gun control" ranked near the bottom of Americans' most pressing concerns in 2015.

In fact, guns/gun control ranked 19th out of 23 top problems facing the country last year.

According to Gallup, only one percent of respondents mentioned guns/gun control as a concern for most of the months in 2015, although mentions spiked to 7 percent in October and December following mass shootings in those months that dominated the news. (The overall average for the year was 2 percent.)

Americans were most likely to mention some aspect of the federal government in 2015 when asked to name the country's top problem.

Sixteen percent of those responding listed Government/Congress/Politicians, and 13 percent chose the "Economy in general." Eight percent said unemployment is the nation's top problem, and for the first time since 2007, immigration was among the top four most frequently cited problems, mentioned by 8 percent of respondents.

Rounding out the top 10 were various problems each averaging 5%, including ethical/moral decline, race relations/racism, terrorism, the federal budget deficit/debt and education.

Gallup noted that 2015 marks only the second time since 2001 that no single issue averaged 20% or more for the year. However, 34% of Americans named at least one of several specific economic issues -- including the economy, unemployment, the budget deficit, inflation and others.
Blog Author's Comments -- Obama and his administration are focused on "doing something about guns" while this poll shows that the greatest fear the American people have is the government itself. It appears that if the government really wants to help out, they should be "doing something about themselves".

This entire gun control issue is nothing more than Obama's appetite for more control of every ones lives and the desire to manage the political agenda. He doesn't really care, look at places like Chicago and the other bastions of the democrat's territory, violence is rampant, gun free zones are everywhere and the crime is out of control. Obama promised his gun control friends he would do something so we shall see what he has in mind to appease them.

Texas Governor Challenges Obama On Gun Control: 'Come And Take It'

INFOWARS -- On New Year’s Day, Texas Governor Greg Abbott had a strong message for President Obama regarding his upcoming plan to unilaterally enact gun control legislation: “Come and take it.”

“Obama wants to impose more gun control,” Abbott tweeted Friday. “My response? COME & TAKE IT.”

The Republican governor’s statement comes amid announcements the Obama administration will act later this month to impose stricter rules on the selling and purchase of firearms.

The president will meet with Attorney General Loretta Lynch Monday to discuss what actions can be taken to circumvent the Second Amendment without congressional authorization, the Washington Post reports.

The new rules will reportedly seek to require private sellers to conduct background checks, as well as prevent people on the no-fly list from being able to purchase firearms.

Meanwhile, Governor Abbott has made a strong show of support for Texans’ Second Amendment rights.

On Friday a new law came into effect allowing licensed citizens of the Lone Star State to openly carry holstered pistols.

The phrase “come and take it” was emblazoned on a flag flown by Texian forces during the Texas Revolution, chiefly at the battle of Gonzales, where Texian rebels revolted against the Mexican army and challenged them to retrieve a cannon loaned to them for protection.
Blog Author's Comments -- Good for Gov. Abbott perhaps more governors will take the same action after they see what gun control laws Obama puts into affect. The new gun control laws that Obama will pass on his own without any input from Congress will be done via 'executive order'. This is his last year in office so brace yourselves for much more to come. When Obama ran for office he did not like America the way it was so he has and will continue to pass more laws on his own. He said his goal was the ‘transformation’ of America and that is what he has tried and continues to do.

Obama is the absolute worst President the country has ever had. Black and white relations are the worst since he assumed office. Obama wants more gun laws but what has he done to attempt to shut down the black thugs who are doing the majority of shootings, killings and crime? The criminals will not be affected by any new Obama gun laws. Only the law abiding gun owner will feel the impact of any new laws. Obama is trying to distract Americans from his failure to address the true threat of radical Islamic terrorism, and instead going after the rights of the lawful American citizens.

Any action by the president is sure to trigger a major backlash from gun-rights activists. Jennifer Baker, an NRA spokeswoman, said in an email that the president “is doing what he always does when he doesn’t get his way, which is defy the will of the people and issue an executive order.” “This is nothing more than a political stunt to appease anti-gun billionaire Michael Bloomberg and will do nothing to increase public safety,” she said, adding that a dozen high-profile mass shooters passed background checks, including Jared Loughner, who shot Giffords and 19 others in Tucson; Dylann Roof in Charleston, S.C.; and James Holmes in Aurora, Colo.

Jeb Bush: Trump Is A 'Creature Of Barack
Obama' -- Voter Passion For Him Will Pass

Breitbart -- Wednesday in a interview with NPR, Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Jeb Bush (R-FL) said his rival Donald Trump’s popularity is a backlash to President Barack Obama and it will pass.

Bush said, “Trump clearly banning all Muslims would actually be so counterproductive in our efforts to destroy ISIS that it’s foolhardy. I mean, it’s beyond ridiculous. It’s quite dangerous.”

When asked about voters supporting Trump’s ban on Muslims, Bush continued, “In a month from now they won’t. That’s the point. The point is that we’re living in this reality-TV kind of political environment, where he fills the space by saying outrageous things. People, based on their emotions, will express support for the sentiment, not necessarily the specifics, because there are none, and then he’ll backtrack. And he’ll move on to the next thing, and he fills the space….I think the emotion of the here and now will subside. Are people scared about the national security interests of our country being violated because of a lax immigration system or a visa waiver program that wasn’t designed for people being radicalized? Yes, they’re scared, and the job of a president — or a candidate, for that matter — isn’t to scare them more; it’s to give them solutions, and that’s what I’m trying to do.”

He continued, “I would argue that Donald Trump is in fact a creature of Barack Obama. But for Barack Obama, Donald Trump’s effect would not be nearly as strong as it is. We’re living in a divided country right now, and we need political leaders, rather than continuing to divide as both President Obama and Donald Trump do, to unite us.”

Blog Author's Comments -- Jeb Bush seems resentful because he and the 'Republican/Washington' establishment thought he would be the candidate the rest of those vying for the nomination would be chasing. Instead Bush is in the back of the pack. I don't want another Bush as president we have had enough.

I have no idea what he is attempting to convey when he said in the interview "Trump clearly banning all Muslims would actually be so counterproductive in our efforts to destroy ISIS that it’s foolhardy. I mean, it’s beyond ridiculous. It’s quite dangerous." I think what Trump said is the way to go and there are many more voters that agree with him.

Bush has to know he is done, but he still has about $40 million to spend before the primaries are over, and he has nothing else to do. Bush said, "we’re living in a divided country right now, and we need political leaders, rather than continuing to divide as both President Obama and Donald Trump do, to unite us." Obama is a divider and he has done what he wanted to do. After Obama's time in office is over we need a Republican president who will attempt to turn some of the damage around, Jeb Bush is not the one that can do it.
