Dick Cheney: Obama Is The Weakest President Of My Lifetime

Fox News -- Former vice-president Dick Cheney talking about Barack Obama after his foreign policy speech at West Point Wednesday on the Hannity show.

“I think the perception around the world is increasingly negative. But, I think the main focus in on our president. He’s very, very weak, maybe the weakest certainly in my lifetime. I know from my own experience in a recent trip through the Middle East spending several days talking with folks I’ve dealt with all the way back to Desert Storm, they are all absolutely convinced that the American capacity to lead and influence events in that part of the world has been dramatically reduced by this president. We've got a problem with weakness, its centered right in the White House.”

Blog author's comments - This was well said by former vice president Dick Cheney. What so many people fail to understand is that Obama doesn't really care about America; the one many of us knew and know. He wants America diminished; he does not want our country to be a super power. He does not understand foreign policy and on the world stage he is very weak. His goal is the transformation of our country to one he believes it should be. He is destroying the USA and by the time he leaves office I doubt if the country will ever recover from what he has done and has plans to do during the remainder of his time in office.

Obama also wants to diminish white America, our military, our health care system, change our gun laws and much more. He, like most of his leftist supporters, see a weakening of American prestige and influence in the world as a good thing. He is personally weak because he is given to empty threats, as if the mere possibility he would be displeased, might change the mind of some terrorist group or dictator with ambitions to do harm to us. But even without his blundering pronouncements and his clumsy diplomacy, his policies are designed to put the evil America in its place, the place he wants it to be.

Since Guns Were Banned From Jack In The Box Resturants Two
Weeks Ago, They Have Been Robbed At Gun Point Three Times

Guns Save Lives -- A couple of weeks ago, Jack in the Box restaurants asked customers to leave their legally carried guns at home. While it sounds like this was a request more than a ban, it looks like criminals might have been paying attention and realized Jack in the Box restaurants would be easy targets.

According to Click2Houston, four armed men wearing masks robbed a Jack in the Box restaurant in NW Houston, TX. The robbery took place in the middle of the day.

This is third time a Jack in the Box restaurant has been targeted by armed criminals since the burger chain made their request in regards to legally carried guns.

In the other two incidents, one of which was also in Houston, and one in Tennessee, people were actually shot.

Jack in the Box finds itself the most recent corporation to have to weigh in on the open carry debate following a demonstration at a Texas Jack in the Box.

Anti-gun activist group Moms Demand Action pressured the restaurant chain to ban guns in their restaurants following the demonstration. The company took a soft-line approach, issuing the following statement,

Creating a warm and inviting environment for all of our guests and employees is a top priority for Jack in the Box. The presence of guns inside a restaurant could create an uncomfortable situation for our guests and employees and lead to unintended consequences. While we respect the rights of all our guests, we would prefer that guests not bring their guns inside our restaurants.

- Jack in the Box VP of Corporate Communications Brian Luscomb

Earlier this week Chipotle issued a similar statement to Jack in the Box following another open carry demonstration in Texas.

Blog author's comments - The people who don't like the Second Amendment continue to push businesses to ban or restrict guns. The companies create a no guns policy, they get robbed, people get shot or killed and the gun grabbers say we need more gun control. But this won't stop the criminals or get the illegal guns off the streets.

The Jack in the Box VP Brian Luscomb was somewhat correct in his statement, "the presence of guns inside a restaurant could create an uncomfortable situation for our guests and employees and lead to unintended consequences." This depends who has the guns. And their new policy has indeed created an 'uncomfortable situation' in a few of their restaurants.

The liberal restaurant owners let everyone know that their stores will have a room full of unarmed customers and are then surprised when they find out the bad guys were paying attention too. Shame on the liberals for taking a person's inherent right to self defense away from them. I hope the trauma the robbery victims may always feel about having a gun shoved in their face or shot was worth it to the restaurant owners.

Democrat Congressman:"We've Proved That Communism Works"

Daily Caller -- Democratic Florida Rep. Joe Garcia — fresh off being caught eating his own earwax on camera — was caught red-handed (or is it yellow-fingered?) in another gaffe this week, claiming that low crime rates in border cities with lots of federal immigration workers is proof that “Communism works.”

Garcia made the comment during a Google hangout he convened last week to talk about comprehensive immigration reform with supporters. The Democrat attempted to point out how, for all their talk about limited government, many Republicans are fine spending loads of government money on border security.

“Let me give you an example, the kind of money we’ve poured in,” he said. “So the most dangerous — sorry, the safest city in America is El Paso, Texas. It happens to be across the border from the most dangerous city in the Americas, which is Juarez. Right?”

“And two of the safest cities in America, two of them are on the border with Mexico,” Garcia continued. “And of course, the reason is we’ve proved that Communism works. If you give everybody a good government job, there’s no crime.”

“But that isn’t what we should be doing on the border,” he continued. “The kind of money we’ve poured into it, and we’re having diminishing returns.”

The video was uploaded to YouTube by the America Rising PAC, a Republican PAC founded in 2013 and dedicated to opposition research. It’s also the same group that originally uploaded Garcia’s earwax snafu.

Garcia, who is of Cuban descent along with many of his south Florida constituents, told the Miami Herald he never meant to espouse Communism — and was instead taking a tongue-in-cheek shot at his GOP opponents.

But Garcia’s district is already rated a toss-up by the Cook Political Report, and with their second attack on the congressman in a week America Rising clearly senses an opening in the south Florida district.

Coupling the “ew” factor of the earwax video with Garcia’s chirpy endorsement of Communism, Republicans now have a rather robust chest of opposition material to deploy in Florida this fall.

“This is an absurdity, accusing the son of Cuban immigrants of believing in Communism is just ridiculous,” he declared.

Blog author's comments - Rep. Garcia is certainly ignorant enough to qualify as a Democrat politician. He actually said that 'Communism works' while referring to federal immigration workers. Unfortunately, many people knowing what democrats truly are doesn't seem to stop them from being elected.

I use the most damaging example of this which is Barack Obama being elected president, not once but twice. This was the biggest mistake the majority of the people in this country have ever made. It is because of all the liberal and low-information voters, and many are now paying the price for what they have done and we all will for many years.

Col. Allen West Considering Run For President In 2016

Washington Examiner -- While appearing on Wednesday's edition of AM 870′s "Morning Answer," Col. Allen West told Ben Shapiro that he is considering a run for the White House in 2016 out of respect for those who have asked him to run.

"As I was doing the motorcycle ride across the country and wherever we stopped, fuel stop, overnight stop, people would come up and they would ask me that question," he said. "And it would be very disrespectful and dismissive of great Americans if I did not step back and take the time to consider it and pray about it and talk about it with close confidants, so that is what I'll do."

West, however, warned that while he'll consider a run, there is no guarantee he actually will throw his hat in the ring.

"Am I considering it?" he asked. "I am considering it. That does not mean I am going to jump it and do it, but in respect to those people who are so very kind and believe that I have that level of capacity and capability, that’s what I have to do for them.”

In 2010, West became the first African-American GOP congressman from Florida since 1876. Two years later, he narrowly lost to Democrat Patrick Murphy in a contest fraught with allegations of voter fraud and what some call questionable practices by local election officials.

West is not considering a rematch this year, but he remains a favorite with the Tea Party.

Predictably, the liberal hate machine spun into action upon hearing the news. Liberals at the far-left hate site Democratic Underground, for example, called West a "joke of a human being" and a "crazy nut case."

Earlier in the week, West hammered the Obama administration with a blog post suggesting the focus on kidnapped Nigerian girls is intended to distract from the scandal surrounding Benghazi, a suspicion also held by others.

“Consider all the scandals facing the Obama administration, especially Benghazi and the Select Committee, which Rep. Nancy Pelosi referred to as a ‘political stunt,’” he wrote Monday. “Really? Four Americans die, we’re told it was because of an anti-Islam video, no one has been ‘brought to justice’ and THAT is a phony scandal and a political stunt?”

West has remained outspoken on many issues since his failed 2012 run, and many conservatives say they would love to see him run, even though it would present a difficult choice if Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, also joins the race.

Blog author's comments - I do hope Allen West runs in 2016. The country and the Republican Party need a man with intelligence, integrity and honor who won’t lie to us. I cannot think of many who have those qualifications. How would the left and the mainstream media handle that scenario, a black man who is a conservative, educated and a military veteran?

A big hurdle for West is the Republican ‘establishment’ may not back him. If they push someone such as Jeb Bush or others much like him, they will lose again and we will have a continuation of the Obama regime running the country. It is really a shame West was not the first black president of the United States.

Boehner: House Won't Use Its Power To Arrest Lois Lerner

The Hill -- The House has held Lois Lerner in contempt, but it won’t use its power to place the former IRS official under arrest, Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) said on Sunday.

Under a precedent affirmed by the Supreme Court, each chamber of Congress can authorize its sergeant-at-arms to detain individuals it holds in contempt. But Boehner said on "Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo" on Fox News that he has no interest in doing that with Lerner, whom the House last week voted to hold in contempt over her refusal to testify about her role in the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups.

“I’m not sure we want to go down that path,” Boehner said. “It’s never been used,” he said of the provision allowing Congress to arrest individuals and place them in the Capitol jail. The Senate has in fact used that power, but not in the last 80 years. “I’m not sure that it’s an appropriate way to go about this,” Boehner said.

The contempt charge has been referred to the Justice Department, and Boehner said it is up to Attorney General Eric Holder to prosecute Lerner.

“Now will he do it? We don’t know, but the ball is in his court,” Boehner said.

The U.S. attorney’s office in Washington has said it is reviewing the referral. Lerner has repeatedly invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, but the House contends she waived that right by defending herself in an opening statement at a House hearing last year before she refused to answer questions from lawmakers.
Blog author's comments - So Boehner won't issue an arrest warrant for Lerner if Holder fails to prosecute her. The GOP controlled House apparently will do nothing about the IRS head Lois Lerner who was deeply involved in the IRS's targeting of conservative groups and held in contempt by the House. But Boehner passes any decision on what Lerner is guilty of or punishment for what she did to Eric Holder's DOJ.

Eric Holder himself was held in contempt of Congress for failing to produce documents subpoenaed by Congress in connection with the Fast and Furious gun-running investigation. Does anyone think Lerner will receive any penalty imposed for wrongdoing for what she did by the DOJ? I don't believe Lerner initiated what the IRS did. I think she was told what to do by perhaps Harry Reid and President Obama. So along with Fast and Furious the IRS scandal will go ignored and most of the voters will forget about them.

Those who want to be our leaders are the first to run when faced with any serious battle. When you are fighting for the country and your political party, you use every weapon at your disposal. The Democrats understand this, it would be nice if our Republican leaders also figured this out. Boehner doesn't have the leadership ability or the courage to stand up to the Obama administration or the liberal press. The only reason I can see John Boehner taking the position he has, is to put the onus on the Attorney General Eric Holder to treat the case against Lois Lerner with the seriousness it deserves.

Ted Cruz Wants Answers To These 4 Questions On Benghazi

The Foundry -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is frustrated by the Obama administration’s “stonewalling” on the Benghazi investigation – and he wants answers about the 2012 terrorist attack.

Speaking to Fox News’ Neil Cavuto yesterday, Cruz said: “We have four dead Americans. We have the first dead U.S. Ambassador killed in service since 1979. In the 19 months that have followed, we don’t have a single dead terrorist or a single terrorist apprehended, and what we have seen from the president and Senate Democrats has been stonewalling.”

Here are the four questions Cruz wants the Obama administration to answer:

1.Why did the State Department repeatedly refuse to provide additional security as was requested by personnel on the ground?

2.Why did the United States not have military assets in place to protect American men and women on Sept. 11, 2012, when there was increased terrorist activity in the region?

3.During the Benghazi attack, why didn’t the United States send in forces to protect the four men who lost their lives?

4.In the 19 months that have followed, why has no one been apprehended, and no one been brought to justice?

Last year, Cruz introduced a Senate resolution calling for a joint select committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks. The House of Representatives is moving forward with its own select committee, which will be led by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C.

“The truth shouldn’t be partisan,” Cruz said. “Finding out what happened, finding out how we could have prevented it, and acting to actually apprehend these guys, should not be partisan.”

Sen. Ted Cruz Discusses Uncovering The Truth About Benghazi With Neil Cavuto

Blog author's comments - Other Americans want these questions answered also. Why doesn't Obama care about what happened and want answers himself? Because he knows what happened. Libya and Egypt were supposed to be his foreign policy successful accomplishments by helping to remove the dictators in both countries. Where was he during and after this planned terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya? The ambassador, who was one of the four Americans killed, had asked for more security numerous times, but was turned down. Why wasn't help sent during the attack? Obama supposedly was not even in the situation room during the attack, he was probably planning for his campaign/fundraising stops beginning the following day.

And who came up with the excuse of the You Tube video being the reason for the attack? It could have been Hillary Clinton, and the Obama administration ran with that excuse for weeks and months when they knew that was not true. That was just another attempt to protect Obama and Clinton and hope that all of this would soon go away. The mainstream media did their best as usual to hide the facts from the American people. I am glad that the death of our four Americans has not gone away, but I am still doubtful that the entire truth will ever be known. All of this from what Obama told us would be the most transparent administration ever. Those who have been paying attention know it has been just the opposite.

The thinking citizens of this country still want to know the truth. I don't expect much to come from the Benghazi panel which will be chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy, Republican from SC. Even though I believe he is the right man to head the committee with hopes of acquiring useful information. The Democrats will fight him from the beginning and there will only be more stalling or delaying especially by refusing to answer questions or cooperating. I believe the answers to all of the questions point directly towards Obama and Hillary Clinton. I hope the voting public keeps this in mind when they vote in the 2014 midterms and in the election in 2016.

Hillary Clinton Pushes Gun Control And Obamacare

Politico --Hillary Clinton on Tuesday offered her most detailed comments on domestic policy in months, calling for tighter gun restrictions while also going to bat for Obamacare and warning that rising economic inequality is contributing to “social collapse.”

As to whether she’ll run for the White House, however, Clinton said she’s still mulling it because there’s “a cost to everything.”

The former secretary of state, who would be the Democratic frontrunner in 2016 should she run, was delivering the keynote address at a conference held by the National Council for Behavioral Health, an organization that focuses on mental health.

“We have to rein in what has become [an] almost article of faith, that anybody can own a gun anywhere, anytime. And I don’t believe that,” she said, as applause drowned her out.

Clinton, who argued it was possible to hold her position and still support the right to gun ownership, warned that unfettered access to guns could have dangerous consequences. She called the country’s approach to guns “way out of balance,” and referred to cases in which gun violence has erupted over minor issues.

She painted a dark picture, warning that, “At the rate we’re going, we’re going to have so many people with guns everywhere, fully licensed, fully validated, in settings where [one] could be in a movie theater, and they don’t like someone chewing gum loudly or talking on their cell phone and decide they have the perfect right to defend themselves against the gum chewer or cell phone user by shooting.”

Clinton continued, “That’s what happens in the countries I’ve visited where there’s no rule of law.”

The proliferation of guns combined with few restrictions on where they can be carried can “give someone the means to respond in the moment in a way that he wouldn’t if a few minutes passed and there was no means to inflict harm … We really have got to get our arms around this,” she said.

Clinton also spoke in support of President Barack Obama’s health care law. While she has previously defended the law, she has also stressed she’s open to changing it in the future. But on Tuesday, she focused more on what she said were positive aspects of Obamacare.

Blog author's comments - Hillary Clinton, not a big fan of the Second Amendment? This does not surprise me. Why would Hillary Clinton and her husband need a gun for protection when they will have secret service protection for life? The Second Amendment was put in writing to protect us from people like Clinton and the current administration.

The Democrats will attempt to pass more gun control laws, but this will only affect the law-abiding gun owners. The criminals don't care about gun laws, in fact they would like to know who does or does not have a gun, this would make their job much easier. If Hillary Clinton does run for president I hope she campaigns on her opinions regarding the Second Amendment and Obamacare. We will see how much it helps her.

Boehner Names Trey Gowdy To Lead Select Benghazi Panel

Washington D.C. -- House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) announced today that he has chosen Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) to serve as chairman of the select committee to investigate the 2012 tragedy in Benghazi, Libya.

“With four of our countrymen killed at the hands of terrorists, the American people want answers, accountability, and justice. Trey Gowdy is as dogged, focused, and serious-minded as they come. His background as a federal prosecutor and his zeal for the truth make him the ideal person to lead this panel. I know he shares my commitment to get to the bottom of this tragedy and will not tolerate any stonewalling from the Obama administration. I plan to ensure he and his committee have the strongest authority possible to root out all the facts. This is a big job, but Rep. Gowdy has the confidence of this conference, and I know his professionalism and grit will earn him the respect of the American people.”

NOTE: Last week, in response to the release of emails showing the White House was more involved in misleading the American people than previously known and the revelation that the Obama administration had withheld these documents from a Congressional subpoena, Speaker Boehner announced that he was establishing a new select committee to investigate the events surrounding the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012.

New Benghazi Documents Reveal White House Hid Truth From Congress

Blog author's comments - Finally Boehner does the right thing by appointing Trey Gowdy to investigate the Obama/Clinton Benghazi cover-up. Hopefully Gowdy, who is a take no prisoners lawmaker, can cut through some of the lies and stone walling by the Obama administration. Obama really did not care about the four dead Americans; he was more concerned about the Benghazi attack prior to his own election. He put politics before the truth. Instead of protecting our diplomats, the Obama administration was more concerned about protecting the perception of not having a foreign policy failure.

The Ten Commandments Of Liberalism

Via: Right Wing News

1) It doesn’t matter whether you’re yelling at someone who never knew you existed five minutes ago, lying about a conservative because you don’t agree with him or even throwing a brick through a store window, you are always the poor, oppressed victim.

2) By default, liberals can’t be racist, sexist, or homophobic by virtue of being liberal. In other words, if a socialist like Hitler were around today, not only would he deny he is anti-Semitic, he’d be calling OTHER PEOPLE anti-Semitic.

3) The only bad, wrong and immoral thing you can do is being judgmental enough to label an activity bad, wrong, or immoral. That makes you sound like Rick Santorum and even if you turn out to be right about a lot of things over the long term, is it worth it if you sound like Rick Santorum?

4) Women, blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, gays, Jews, Asians — pretty much everyone but straight white males — are weak, hapless, sad victims who are barely capable of tying their own shoes without a liberal writing a government policy that does it for them.

5) There is no such thing as the failure of a liberal policy; there are only well meaning left-wingers doing wonderful things. If they don’t turn out as expected, there must be evil, awful conservative Republicans causing it somehow — probably George W. Bush or alternately, if he’s busy planning new wars, Dick Cheney, Rush Limbaugh, Ted Cruz or Sarah Palin.

6) Liberalism is a jealous god and it will not tolerate anything, especially Christianity, being put before it. If Jesus wants to be a significant part of your life, He better call for gay marriage and a carbon tax first.

7) It’s better to bankrupt a city like Detroit, cause the deaths of millions in Africa by banning DDT, or destroy the American health care system with Obamacare than to be called “mean” for choosing policies based on whether they work or not.

8) Not only should you go ahead and covet your neighbor’s possessions, you should encourage other people to do it, too. Then, you should call for the government to take their possessions and redistribute them. After they get done, there may not be much of anything left, but then you’ll all be equally poor and miserable and there’s a lot to be said for that.

9) Disagreeing with a black Democrat? Racist. Opposing Affirmative Action? Racist. Think we pay out too much in welfare and food stamps? Racist. Don’t like the IRS? Racist. Republican? Racist. Wait, what are we talking about? Racist!

10) Money is no object — taxpayer money, of course, not your own. Your money, you want to keep. But, when other people’s money is on the line, it’s worth spending any amount, no matter how large, to achieve any good, no matter how small.

Blog author's comments - These 'Ten Commandments of Liberalism' describe quite well the mindset and actions of most liberals. The alarming or frightening part of this is their numbers have grown dramatically since Obama has been in office. I must assume a majority of these people actually believe what Obama has been telling them over the past five years and agree with him.

If this thinking and actions of liberalism continues it will be the downfall of the America many of us know and care about. The only answer to beginning the reversal of some of this is at the ballot box. We shall see how many of the Obama supporters have learned that his 'fundamental change' to our country is not the way for all of us to prosper and survive. We will soon find out in the upcoming midterm elections of 2014.
