The Hill - There is a clear path to victory for Democrats in the House to retake the majority in 2012, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday night.
“We feel very confident about it. We've outraised the Republicans, if you can imagine that. Our small donors have saved the day for us,” Pelosi said on MSNBC.

Blog author's comments - Nancy Pelosi wants her gavel back -- she desperately misses being Speaker of the House. Pelosi also had confidence in 2010 before the midterm elections. The day of the elections she said:
“The early returns and overwhelming number of Democrats who are coming out – we’re on pace to maintain a majority in the House of Representatives,” she told reporters.
The Democrats lost 63 seats and Pelosi had to turn over her gavel to John Boehner in one of the most memorable moments in the history of American politics.
