Holder and Obama - Seal Court Records

U.S. Seals Court Records Of Border Patrol's Murder

Judicial Watch - The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels. Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of more than 1,000 guns which have been used in numerous crimes.

Truth is, no one will know the reason for the confiscation of public court records in this case because the judge’s decision to seal it was also sealed, according to the news story. That means the public or media won’t have access to any new or old evidence, filings, rulings or arguments. - Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - We are supposed to believe that there is not a cover up going on. And Obama and Holder have nothing to hide. But they have a liberal judge seal the records and as far as they are concerned it's over.

You would think there would be a journalist somewhere who would like to become famous by exposing all the corruption of this administration. I don’t expect the Republicans to do it.

Federal agent Brian Terry was murdered and Obama and Holder's 'Fast and Furious' Program has also been linked to over 200 murders in Mexico.

Christie To Obama - Why Are We Paying You?

Chris Christie: President Obama's just a 'bystander'

Politico - Gov. Chris Christie on Monday tore into President Barack Obama in the aftermath of the supercommittee’s failure to reach an agreement on debt reduction last week, asking the president, “What the hell are we paying you for?”

Calling Obama “a bystander in the Oval Office,” the outspoken New Jersey governor said the White House spent the weekend tossing out a whole lot of “spin” about the supercommittee’s inability to come to an agreement before the Nov. 23 deadline.

“I was angry this weekend, listening to the spin coming out of the administration, about the failure of the supercommittee, and that the president knew it was doomed for failure, so he didn’t get involved. Well then what the hell are we paying you for?” Christie said during a press conference in Camden, N.J. “It’s doomed for failure so I’m not getting involved? Well, what have you been doing, exactly?”

Blog author's comments - Good questions from Christie -- but those of us who have watched Obama for nearly three years -- know the answers. Obama is not qualified to be the President. Even as a member of the Senate he voted present much of the time.

Obama and his administration are the major reason for the problems we now have. He would rather have an excuse than a solution. He does not want an agreement with the Republicans. He needs something to run on for 2012. Let us not forget the GOP has controlled the House for less than a year.

Colin Powell - Blames Media And Tea Party

Colin Powell Blames Media and
Tea Party for Divisive Tone in Washington

News Busters -- They compromised--"the Founding Fathers compromised on slavery. They had to in order to create a country. They compromised on the composition of the Senate, of the House, of the Supreme Court, of a president -- what are the president's powers? Can you imagine more difficult compromises today?

Compromise is how this country was founded, and unless two people in disagreement with each other don't find a way to reach out to one another and make compromises, you don't get a consensus that allows you to move forward.

But the Tea Party point of view of no compromise whatsoever is not a point of view that will eventually produce a presidential candidate who will win."

Blog author's comments - If the Republicans don't compromise and do what the Democrats want, it's because of the Tea Party? I would hope the GOP will no longer always concede to what the Democrats want for our country.

Colin Powell may say he is a member of the Republican Party but he supported and voted for Obama in 2008 and I believe he will vote for him in 2012.

Compromise should never require citizens to turn a blind eye to out-of-control spending or corrupt leadership.

Another Reason - To Defeat Obama In 2012

The Armed Citizen - June 22, 2011
It’s a familiar scenario: An armed citizen with a concealed-carry permit is likely once again to have saved multiple lives. Several customers were doing business inside a pawn shop when a man walked inside, pointed a gun toward the ceiling and announced a robbery. Did the gunman intend to shoot the clerk? Would he take hostages? We’ll never know, because a customer with a concealed-carry permit promptly drew a pistol and shot the robber in the stomach. The robber has been charged with aggravated robbery. (KSAT-TV, San Antonio, TX, 06/22/11)

The Armed Citizen - July 15, 2011
Upon stopping at an intersection, a motorist noticed a man approaching. Before he could react, the man reached through the window and punched him several times. Stunned by the blows, the motorist reached for his handgun, which he has a permit to carry. As his attacker reached behind his back, as if for a weapon, the motorist drew his gun and fired a shot, striking the assailant in the upper torso. The suspect will be charged following his release from the hospital. (WZXT-TV, Jacksonville, Fla., 7/15/11)

The Armed Citizen - August 31, 2011
Phillip Ramsey was drinking coffee in his kitchen when there was a knock at the door. “I didn’t recognize him and I didn’t answer the door,” Ramsey recalled. Shortly thereafter a second unknown man knocked at the door. When Ramsey didn’t answer, the man circled toward the rear of the house. Ramsey heard glass breaking and grabbed his 9 mm pistol, which he usually stores in the bedroom. “For some reason, I had it with me in the kitchen today,” he said. Ramsey called 9-1-1 and when he got to his bedroom, the man was getting off the bed below a broken window. Ramsey held the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived. Following the incident he offered the following safety advice to fellow citizens: “Get a gun and learn how to use it.” (The Post and Courier, Charleston, S.C., 8/31/11)

Studies indicate that firearms are used more than 2 million times a year for personal protection, and the presence of a firearm, without a shot being fired, prevents crime in many instances.

Blog author's comments - I have never ever seen the level of dishonesty and the will to transform our country as I have with the administration now in power.

One of many attacks which is being worked on within the shadows is the Obama administration’s clear intent—once freed from the political restrictions of a first term—to assault the Second Amendment.

The President has a long, detailed and irrefutable opposition to the Second Amendment—as a senator, as a candidate and in the White House. But he is not foolish enough to revisit his fight out in the open when he has to win another election.

The media has joined the administration's attempt to cover up the operation “Fast and Furious,” a deadly, criminal scheme concocted by the Justice Department and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Now that the secret’s out, the Obama administration stalls and obstructs the investigation.

This was done with intent to enact more gun control and limit our right to purchase and own firearms. These are the facts gun owners face today from the most anti-gun administration ever.

Blog author's comments - There are more cities which should be included on this list. They would push the cost of Occupy Wall Street over $20 million and counting.

In their crusade against the rich the OWS losers are hurting the average people with their so-called protests. Why must productive citizens foot the bill?

Send it to Obama and have him pay it from his campaign funds, the protesters have his approval. Obama hopes his class warfare works for the 2012 election.

Illegal Immigration - Gingrich vs. Bachmann

Newt Gingrich and Michele
Bachmann on Immigration

Blog author's comments - Would I want our government to close the borders and keep them secure - to round up all illegals and deport them? Yes! Will it ever happen and could it happen? Secure borders, hopefully - deportation of all illegals? No!

Newt Gingrich had some solid points on illegals during the debate when he provided an overview of a possible plan. I agree with some of what he said because we have to face the facts, no one is going to kick out 11-20 million people. It won't happen.

He has a workable plan. He did mention 'control the borders'. That should be the first item on our agenda against illegal immigration. Gingrich has a plan to curtail and separate the good from the bad.

I think that Newt Gingrich purposely didn't mention citizenship for these people, and the reason for that is they can't vote if they're not citizens. So he obviously has thought about this to a certain extent because he knows that if you grant amnesty, amnesty is citizenship.

Michele Bachmann offered no specific detailed plan of her own concerning control of illegals but was critical of the plan that Gingrich outlined.

If Obama remains in office he sees all illegals as future voters for the Democratic Party and he will find a way to pass a bill which gives amnesty to all illegals which would allow them to vote.

Here is the exchange via: CNN transcripts.

Later during the debate Mitt Romney was critical of the Gingrich plan concerning illegal immigration.

Newt Gingrich later 'tweeted'...Mitt Romney what's your
position on citizenship for illegals again? (I oppose it.)

In a 2007 Meet the Press interview, Mitt Romney outlines his views on illegal immigration and says the 12 million illegal immigrants should be granted citizenship.

Obama - GOP Refuses To Compromise

What a Surprise - Obama Blames the
Republicans for Super Committee Failure

Blog author's comments - Many of us knew that a 'Super Committee' was a bad idea. It is also clear that Obama's campaign strategy for the 2012 election is to divide the country along economic lines.

He has no intention of attempting to repair the damage he has done because he takes no responsibility for it. He will continue to use class warfare with hope that the majority of voters will agree with him and support him in his reelection in 2012.

Gingrich - Advice For OWS Protesters

Newt Gingrich Offers Advice to
Occupy Wall Street Protesters

Blog author's comments - Good advice from Gingrich for the OWS people. Obama should have shut them down many weeks ago but he has helped to create them with the class warfare he uses.

I think it is now a race between Gingrich and Romney for the GOP nomination. Because of the Gingrich rise in the polls he is now receiving the anal exam from the MSM. But, during all the weeks with Romney at or near the top the media has really not gone after him.

They want to help chose our nominee for us and he is their man. I would much rather see Gingrich win the nomination. I am convinced Romney cannot defeat Obama.

Gingrich is the brightest and has the most political experience of anyone we currently have. Those who cannot overlook his baggage are not politically aware of what is happening and do not know how serious the situation in this country is.

They must not realize what Obama has done and has planned for us if he should win a second term in 2012. If Obama remains in office the country may never recover.

Rick Perry: "Absolutely...I Think
Barack Obama Is a Socialist"

Blog author's comments - I don't disagree with Rick Perry and the comments he made about Obama. I think that it is clear Obama does not like this country the way it is.

He wants to totally change it, to redistribute the wealth and to have more people who depend on the government to provide for them. This will also keep the Democratic Party in power.

What I cannot understand is the number of people who seem to agree with him and would like to have him as President for another four years. For the country to survive he must be defeated in 2012.

Obama Delays Drilling In Ohio - Kills Jobs

Obama USDA delays shale drilling, up to 200k jobs

Examiner - President Obama's United States Department of Agriculture has delayed shale gas drilling in Ohio for up to six months by cancelling a mineral lease auction for Wayne National Forest (WNF). The move was taken in deference to environmentalists, on the pretext of studying the effects of hydraulic fracturing.

“Conditions have changed since the 2006 Forest Plan was developed,” announced WNF Supervisor Anne Carey on Tuesday. “The technology used in the Utica & Marcellus Shale formations need to be studied to see if potential effects to the surface are significantly different than those identified in the Forest Plan.” The study will take up to six months to complete. The WNF study reportedly “will focus solely on how it could affect forest land,” despite the significance of hydraulic fracturing to united proponents of the delay, “and not how it could affect groundwater.”

Speaking of the WNF gas drilling, one environmentalist group spokesman suggested that moving forward with drilling "could turn the Ohio Valley into Ozone Alley," even though Wayne National Forest already has nearly 1300 oil and gas wells in operation.

The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP) recently estimated that drilling in the Utica shale, which is affected by the suspension of the mineral lease auctions, would produce up 204,500 jobs by 2015.

Blog author's comments - August 2011 Obama said: "But you should know that keeping the economy growing and making sure jobs are available is the first thing I think about when I wake up every morning. It's the last thing I think about when I go to bed each night."

President Obama's United States Department of Agriculture has delayed shale gas drilling in Ohio for up to six months. Along with that there is the loss of approximately 200,000 jobs by 2015 that the drilling would have created.

This week, Obama also killed at least another 20,000 jobs by not approving the Keystone Pipeline from Canada to ship oil from Canada to the United States.

We have to wait for job creation until after Obama leaves the White House because the only job he is concerned about is his own.

DNC - Obama Did Not Call Americans Lazy

DNC fights back: Obama never called Americans 'lazy'

The Hill - The Democratic National Committee pushed back in a new Web ad Thursday, a response to attacks by Republican presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Rick Perry over President Obama’s use of the word “lazy.”

According to an email from a DNC aide, the ad is designed to prove Romney and Perry are “being dishonest” about what Obama really said and the context in which he said it.

Here is the DNC ad insisting Obama never called Americans lazy.

This is what Obama said last weekend about lazy Americans.

Blog author's comments - In their new video the DNC insists that when Obama was calling Americans lazy he really was not calling Americans lazy.

The media also covers for Obama. They always need to explain the news. Whenever a Republican speaks they tell us that what they said was actually much worse than it sounded. When Obama or any Democrat speaks they have to convince us that it wasn’t quite as bad as it really was.

No doubt there are many who will believe the DNC's ad. These are the same people who watch, listen to, and absorb like sponges what the MSM reports and would like all of us to believe.

Santa Ousted From Cancer Hospital

Cancer center's Santa gets boot

Post and Courier - It's not even December, but Santa has already been fired from Charleston's Hollings Cancer Center.

For each of the past two years, hospital volunteer Frank Cloyes spent one day as St. Nick, spreading good cheer and snacks to patients sitting through chemotherapy treatments. The 67-year-old James Island resident, a retired insurance executive who calls himself a "gregarious guy," paid for his own costume rental.

On Tuesday morning, a volunteer coordinator told Cloyes his services no longer were needed.

"Because of our state affiliation, we decided not to have a Santa presence this year," Hollings spokeswoman Vicky Agnew said. Hollings is a part of the Medical University of South Carolina.

Decorations will be "more secular and respectful to all beliefs," Agnew said. "We don't want to offend a volunteer with good intentions, but we need to think of the bigger picture. People who are Muslim or Jewish or have no religious beliefs come here for treatment," she said.

Blog author's comments - If one is in a hospital for cancer treatment is the presence of a man dressed in a Santa Claus suit going to upset them? I’ll bet it’s not the Jewish patients that are offended.

This is more political correctness to be certain they do not offend the Muslims. If I send a donation and say Merry Christmas, will they return my donation as not being more secular and respectful to all beliefs?

Barack Obama - Waterboarding Is Torture

Obama calls waterboarding 'torture'

Kapolei, Hawaii (AP) - At a news conference in Hawaii. a CNN White House correspondent brought up the weekend GOP debate and told the president that several candidates said in their view waterboarding is not torture.

President Barack Obama says the interrogation technique known as waterboarding constitutes torturing, disputing Republican presidential candidates who say they would reinstate the practice.

Obama called waterboarding "torture" and said it was "contrary to America's traditions" during a news conference at the Asian-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit.

Republicans Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann said during a Republican debate on Saturday that they would reinstate the technique that former President George W. Bush authorized and Obama banned.

Blog author's comments - Barack Obama...having you as President of our country for approximately three years, along with your policies and agenda is and has been 'torture'.

Scaring a few terrorist masterminds and making them physically uncomfortable by waterboarding, while getting information which saves the lives of American troops and citizens...that is not 'torture'.

What media bias? CNN reporter Dan Lothiam asked Obama in Hawaii if Republicans are "uninformed, out of touch, or irresponsible" on waterboarding?

New Poll: Gingrich Now In Second Place

Polls: Gingrich Grows on GOP Voters

WSJ - Two polls out Friday show former House Speaker Newt Gingrich’s campaign gaining traction. And both polls show there’s plenty of room for the race to change dramatically: 17% of respondents are undecided.

A McClatchy-Marist poll of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents finds that Mitt Romney’s poll numbers remain steady, he generally garners the support of about a quarter of the Republican and Republican-leaning voters. That puts him in the lead, with Mr. Gingrich in second and former front-runner Herman Cain close behind.

By the numbers: Mr. Romney, 23%, Mr. Gingrich, 19%, Mr. Cain, 17%,Texas Rep. Ron Paul 10%, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, 8%, and Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, 5%. Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum got 1% apiece.

“Romney is still where he’s been. It’s fair to say this is a battle for the anybody-but-Romney candidate,” said Lee M. Miringoff, director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion at Marist College. “Gingrich has now begun his 15 days of fame. Whether he is able to maintain that, as others have fallen, is the question. He may be the only one standing when this is all said and done.”

The poll shows that many voters aren’t strongly attached to their choice. Mr. Gingrich has the most-committed supporters at 43%. For both Messrs. Romney and Cain, the level drops to about 30%.

A CBS News poll shows Mr. Romney’s support slipping to 15%, putting him even with Mr. Gingrich and behind Mr. Cain, at 18%.

Blog author's comments - For Conservatives and the Republican Party the election of 2012 is a do or die situation. This election is the most important in the history of our country if we want to save the United States from being destroyed by the current President.

This link is what I presently believe concerning the GOP field for the nomination. Newt Gingrich is now moving into contention.

Obama's war machine and the MSM will of course try to devour whoever the Republican nominee may be. All the candidates who have a legitimate chance for the nomination have some baggage; there is no perfect candidate.

The liberals will do whatever is necessary in their attempt to help Obama win a second term and with it his chance to continue to turn us into a socialist country.

We must come together to see that it does not happen. At this time it is any Republican that can win -- rather than Obama.

Newt Gingrich - Best Chance Of Defeating Obama?

Gingrich Takes a Shot at Occupy Wall Street

CRAMER: Mr. Speaker, how about to you, can corporations do both?

GINGRICH: Sure. Look, obviously, corporations can and should do both. And what is amazing to me is the inability of much of our academic world and much of our news media and most of the people on Occupy Wall Street to have a clue about history.

I have yet to hear a single reporter ask a single Occupy Wall Street person a single rational question about the economy that would lead them to say, for example, "Who is going to pay for the park you are occupying if there are no businesses making a profit?"

Blog author's comments - Gingrich appears to be the candidate that realizes that he is fighting Obama and not the other Republican candidates.

I believe at this time - he is the one with enough perspective, knowledge, and ability to defeat Obama. He is also the brightest of all the candidates. I don’t buy that anyone will really care about any of his negatives when it is clear we’re sliding off the cliff. For those who don't realize this there is no hope. If Obama should win a second term, with nothing to lose, he will destroy our country.

Rick Perry is apparently a good Governor, but has not fared well in the debates. Herman Cain is now fighting the harassment charges and has no political experience.

That leaves Mitt Romney who has his own record to defend but seems to be the favorite for the nomination of many Republicans. He is not a Conservative and I don't believe he can defeat Obama. We could have another election like 2008.

AG Eric Holder - Senate Judiciary Committee

Holder concedes ATF let guns "walk" to Mexico

Washington Examiner - U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder conceded this morning that under his leadership, agents allowed guns to "walk" into Mexico, where they ended up in the hands of drug lords, and he said that the effects of this mistake would be felt for years to come.

"I want to be clear: any instance of so-called 'gun-walking' is simply unacceptable," Holder said in his opening statement before the Senate Judiciary committee. "Regrettably, this tactic was used as part of Fast and Furious, which was launched to combat gun trafficking and violence on our Southwest Border. This operation was flawed in concept, as well as in execution. And, unfortunately, we will feel its effects for years to come as guns that were lost during this operation continue to show up at crime scenes both here and in Mexico."

In July, the man who implemented the Fast and Furious program for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives', William Newell, repeatedly denied that they let guns "walk," Newell made his comments in testimony before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Blog author's comments - “Gun-walking” is simply "unacceptable" said Eric Holder. But it was part of his 'Fast and Furious' plan. He has also lied about his knowledge of 'Fast and Furious'. He should not be the Attorney General. How many people, both Mexican and American, are now dead because of him?

Holder had to have discussed this with the President. Having him testify is a waste of time. He will never tell the real truth about who knew what and when. This program was designed to usher in an era of strict gun control. Both Holder and Obama are anti-gun and Second Amendment.

Holder faces what is likely to be a much more hostile environment next month when he testifies before a House panel where Republican Darrell Issa, R-California, will wield the gavel and control the questioning.

Holder claims he never saw memos about 'Fast and Furious' addressed to him

Documents suggest Holder knew about 'Faast and Furious' earlier than he claimed

Mayor: "Good Day For The 99% Movement"

Oakland Mayor Jean Quan Praises Occupy Oakland
Protesters After Riots Cost City Over $1 Million

“The police officers and other forces came and ensured that it was peaceful tonight. We will act if we need to tonight to maintain safety. But it looks like this was a good day for the demonstrators and for the 99% movement.”

A few photos from the Occupy protests in Oakland.

Blog author's comments - The Mayor of Oakland has sided with the anarchists. She is allowing them the freedom to protest and riot. She seems okay with them destroying public and private property, and does not seem upset that public workers have been put in harms way attempting to defend the citizens and city property.

This is what Progressive leadership looks like. Mayor Quan tries to down play the behavior and the violence that has occurred while also appeasing these malcontents on their incoherent issues.

The Occupy protesters are of course backed by some members of the Obama regime.

Sen. Feinstein - Wants National Gun Registration

Feinstein Uses 'Fast and Furious' to
Make Case for National Gun Registration

CNS News - Making a case for national gun registration, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said “perhaps mistakes were made” in the botched gun-walking program known as Fast and Furious, but she said trying to assign blame misses the larger problem.

“This is a deep concern for me. I know others disagree, but we have very lax laws when it comes to guns,” Feinstein, an advocate of gun control, said during Tuesday's hearing of the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism.

“My concern, Mr. Chairman, is that there’s been a lot said about Fast and Furious, and perhaps mistakes were made,” Feinstein said. “But I think this hunt for blame doesn’t really speak about the problem. And the problem is, anybody can walk in and buy anything.”

In Operation Fast and Furious, a Justice Department program that began in September 2009, law enforcement knowingly allowed about 2,000 U.S. guns to flow to Mexican drug cartels, with the intent of tracking the weapons and making arrests. However, law enforcement lost track of most of the weapons. The program was halted in December 2010 after two weapons from the program were found at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

Blog author's comments - Fast and Furious and Gunwalker broke existing laws. If the laws were followed those guns would not have walked. The government set this up and lied about their involvement in it. But, according to Dianne Feinstein more gun laws are needed.

The original purpose of Fast and Furious was to create the illusion that Mexican guns were coming from the U.S., prompting the need to add more gun laws to register and control the sale of guns, and restrict the sale of assault weapons.

Now, after all the information has been made public, the Democrats still have the nerve to go ahead with the plan. They never cease to amaze me. Fast and Furious from day one was a covert operation against the Constitution and the Second Amendment.

What Feinstein wants will happen if Obama should win a second term in office.

Pelosi - Boeing Should Unionize Or Shut Down

In an interview late last week, House Minority Leaeder Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told CNBC that Boeing should either unionize its production facilities in South Carolina, or shut them down entirely.

“Do you think it’s right that Boeing has to close down that plant in South Carolina because it’s non union?” asked host Maria Bartiromo. Pelosi’s reply: “Yes.” The minority leader quickly added that she would rather it simply unionize and stay open. But barring unionization, by Pelosi’s reasoning, it should simply shut down.

Pelosi may or may not know that workers at the South Carolina plant in question voted resoundingly (199-68) to decertify their union two years ago. Government policies that would close the plant for being a non-union shop would simply be punishing those workers for exercising their right to determine union representation for themselves.

Blog author's comments - The Democrats' jobs plan is being revealed. Unionize or jobs will be eliminated. Boeing could move the plant, along with the jobs, out of the country.

This attitude is only one of the reasons American companies don’t make more products in America which has resulted in thousands being out of work. The economy will never begin to thrive again until the Obama administration is no longer in power.
