Obama - My Economic Policies Saved The Country

Blog author's comments - How stupid does this person think the people are – excluding the liberals? If he says it enough times, a lot of people will believe him. He knows that. He pulled us back from nothing - he shoved the economy over the cliff.

See link - The Deficit Is Worse Than We Think. There are at least 3 major reasons for concern.

Freedom In The 50 States 2011

Blue States Have Less Freedom In The 50 States

More information see link MERCATUS CENTER George Mason University

Heritage Foundation link 2011 Index of Economic Freedom, Ranking the Countries

Blog author's comments - This study should surprise no one. It’s a known fact the laws and regulations of liberally-run states are oppressive and numerous; and will get worse as long as liberals keep getting elected by people willing to surrender their freedoms by not doing their homework and voting for the right people at the state and local levels of government.

I believe there are a few states in this study which did benefit from the midterm elections, but the study does not reflect that. Some states did an almost complete turn around to Republican control at the state level. The constant battle is to maintain control. It seems that within the last decade the liberal mentality has grown at a very fast pace. More people are content to let the government care for them.

Rep. Allen West On The Laura Ingraham Show

Allen West Interviewed by Laura Ingraham
West: Wasserman Schultz is "Delusional"

Blog author's comments - Allen West always gives a good interview and is not afraid to speak out against Obama's policies and agenda for the country. I happen to agree with whatever West has to say.

It's too bad he has not been a member of Congress for a few years. He would be my choice as the candidate for the GOP nomination and a person who I would feel confident that could defeat Obama in 2012.

His comment about Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee being "delusional" is quite true. Wasserman Schultz says whatever the Democrat Party programs into her head. She is the perfect drone. That is why she was made head of the DNC.

Dem Says Hearings Racist, Chairman King Disagrees

Rep. King: Islamic Prison Radicalization Hearings Are Not Racist

Daily Caller - Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King gave a full-throated rebuttal to Democrat charges that his hearings on Muslim radicalization are racist.

During King’s Wednesday hearing on “The Threat of Muslim-American Radicalization in U.S. Prisons,” Democratic committee member Rep. Laura Richardson alleged that the inquiry could “be deemed as racist and as discriminatory.”

King did not take kindly to the charge, telling the committee that political correctness has gotten in the way of safety.

“I disagree 100 percent with the gentlelady. She is entirely wrong,” King said. “The fact is this committee was set up to combat terrorism. It was set up after September 11. As the Gentleman Mr. [Lamar] Smith [R-TX] has testified, there are already procedures in place which follow gangs when they leave prison. We have protocols in place for that. Unfortunately because of too many instances of political correctness, we do not have protocols in place to follow those who were trained in jihad in the prisons. That is why this is unique.”

The New York Republican added that it was not within his committee’s purview to focus on all the concerns plaguing prisons.

“I would say to the gentlelady, your party had control of this committee for four years. Not one hearing at all on anything involving Skinheads, on Nazis, on the Ayran Nation, on white supremacists at all. Certainly this issue emerges when we start talking about Muslim radicalization. That is the purpose of this committee. We have a Judiciary Committee to deal with other issues in the prisons.” - Continue reading...

Blog author's comments - Is there anything to a democrat that is not “Racist”? Great slap down Mr. King! Keep it up, and teach some other Republicans how it needs to be done! It pleased me to know that there are still people in our government who love this country and believe in defending it.

We can quit investigating radical Islam as soon as they quit killing everyone they come in contact with – what’s the problem? Peter King has my total support.

This woman’s (and her party’s) attitude is why we have TSA feeling up babies, children, grandmas, grandpas, and all the rest of the innocents of the population instead of concentrating on the group from which these terrorists originated.

We could use another 40-50 Peter Kings in Congress.

DNC Chief - BHO Has Turned The Economy Around

DNC Chief Wasserman Schultz Claims Obama
Has "Turned This Economy Around"

Blog authors' comments - Being a good liar seems to be a qualification in the Obama administration. DNC Chairwoman Wasserman Schultz proves that point with her comment that Obama has turned the economy around. In reality it's still heading south.

I am pleased that Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz is the head of the DNC. She helps make the Democrat Party look foolish and inept.

Republicans should welcome Wasserman Schultz. She is a constant embarrassment to herself and her party. If the Democrat Party is staking their 2012 fate on the premise that their policies have turned the economy around and it is now on a strong road to recovery - I say go for it.

Sarah Palin - The Constant Target Of The MSM

Sarah Palin Emails: Enemies Sent a Series of Death Threats

Telegraph - The release of 24,000 pages of Sarah Palin's emails shows that she received a barrage of abusive emails including death threats in the up to the 2008 presidential race.

One message sent by someone in Juneau, Alaska on Sept 17, 2008 said the governor should be "shot from one of the planes that shoot the very wolves that you ordered."

Five days earlier an email landed in her in-box saying she "must be killed."

It said: "She doesn't belong to the NRA to support the right of each citizen to have weapons in an aim of self-defence, but just to support the right of every southern white citizen to shoot all non-white people legally! Sarah Palin MUST BE KILLED!"

Another emailed death threat in the same month, while Mrs Palin was on the campaign trail as John McCain's vice-presidential running mate, came from Antwerp, Belgium.

It said Mrs. Palin should be shot and that "only on that moment justice will be accomplished."

The governor did not respond to the emails and forwarded them to her aides. It was unclear whether inquiries into who sent the emails were launched

Blog author's comments - As the column states 24,000 emails to and from Sarah Palin while she was the Governor of Alaska were released on Friday. The media vultures were eagerly awaiting the release of the documents with hope that they could find anything negative about her.

Both the Washington Post and NY Times asked their readers for help in pouring over the material. What were found in the emails were death threats against her.

The MSM must view Palin as a threat to the Democrat Party. Palin does not hold any office and has not said that she will run for President in 2012. The liberal media continues to show that they have zero credibility.

They have been battering Sarah Palin since the campaign of 2008 but she has not allowed them to beat her down. She remains strong to her conservative principles.

Napolitano - Screening Muslim Men Not Good Logic

Napolitano: Concentrating Terrorist Screening Efforts
on Muslim Men Under 35 is "Not Good Logic"

[ Click Image To Enlarge ]

Blog author's comments - Is this woman as dense as she appears? Is anyone surprised that Obama gave her the job as the Director of Homeland Security? Unbelievable!

The Obama administration does not want to be accused of racism so they will not allow profiling, even though most terrorist attacks are by Muslims. But, groping grandma and little kids, now that's good logic according to the rules set by Napolitano and the Obama regime.

Arizona was lucky to get Napolitano out of their governor’s chair. Unfortunately this was also very bad for the rest of the country.

Obama Is Not Worried About Another Recession

Obama: "I'm not concerned about a double-dip recession."

CBS News - "I'm not concerned about a double-dip recession," Mr. Obama said at a joint press conference at the White House with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. "I am concerned the recovery we're on is not producing jobs as quickly as I'd like."

Last week's jobs report from the Labor Department showed that the unemployment rate rose to 9.1 percent in May. Employers hired only 54,000 new workers last month, the fewest in eight months.

"We don't yet know whether this is a one-month episode or a longer" problem, the president said.

Mr. Obama pointed out today that prior to this latest disappointing report, the U.S. economy experienced three months of robust growth. He pointed to additional signs of economic recovery, such as the rebound of the domestic manufacturing sector.

But, he said, "We've still got some enormous work to do."

The president said job creation is at the top of his mind every day and that his administration has taken steps that have already helped, such as the payroll tax cut instituted.

In order to deal with more long-term competitive challenges, he said, Washington will have to invest in areas like energy and education, reform the tax system and get a handle on the national debt and deficit "in a way that's balanced and sensible."

Blog author's comments - Obama will continue this mantra until the 2012 election. He cannot honestly run on his policies or agenda.

"Prior to this month we had seen three months of very robust job growth in the private sector."

"Over 2 million jobs created over the past 15 months."

"We have set a path that will lead us to long term economic growth."

Everything he says is made to appear as though he has accomplished something great. Just the opposite has happened. He is responsible for our economy and his policies will not bring recovery.

The UN And The Liberals Want Your Guns

U.N. Agreement Should Have All Gun Owners Up In Arms - It may not come as surprising news to many of you that the United Nations doesn’t approve of our Second Amendment. Not one bit. And they very much hope to do something about it with help from some powerful American friends.

Under the guise of a proposed global “Small Arms Treaty” premised to fight "terrorism", “insurgency” and “international crime syndicates” you can be quite certain that an even more insidious threat is being targeted – our Constitutional right for law-abiding citizens to own and bear arms.

What, exactly, does the intended agreement entail? While the terms have yet to be made public, if passed by the U.N. and ratified by our Senate, it will almost certainly force the U.S. to:

1. Enact tougher licensing requirements, creating additional bureaucratic red tape for legal firearms ownership.

2. Confiscate and destroy all “unauthorized” civilian firearms (exempting those owned by our government of course).

3. Ban the trade, sale and private ownership of all semi-automatic weapons (any that have magazines even though they still operate in the same one trigger pull – one single “bang” manner as revolvers, a simple fact the ant-gun media never seem to grasp).

4. Create an international gun registry, clearly setting the stage for full-scale gun confiscation.

5. In short, overriding our national sovereignty, and in the process, providing license for the federal government to assert preemptive powers over state regulatory powers guaranteed by the Tenth Amendment in addition to our Second Amendment rights.

Have no doubt that this plan is very real, with strong Obama administration support. In January 2010 the U.S. joined 152 other countries in endorsing a U.N. Arms Treaty Resolution that will establish a 2012 conference to draft a blueprint for enactment. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has pledged to push for Senate ratification.

Just how effectively have gun bans worked to make citizens safer in other countries? Take the number of home break-ins while residents are present as an indication. In Canada and Britain, both with tough gun-control laws, nearly half of all burglaries occur when residents are present. But in the U.S. where many households are armed, only about 13% happen when someone is home.

Recognizing clear statistical benefit evidence, 41 states now allow competent, law-abiding adults to carry permitted or permit-exempt concealed handguns. As a result, crime rates in those states have typically fallen at least 10% in the year following enactment.

So the majority in our Senate is smart enough to realize that the U.N.’s gun-grab agenda is unconstitutional, politically suicidal for those who support it, and down-right idiotic—right? Let’s hope so, but not entirely count on it. - Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - This is shear lunacy. The UN is a worthless organization that has no business in the affairs of the United States. I honestly don't see this happening, but I also would not have predicted what Obama has done during such a short amount of time in office.

Of course Obama could try to push this through during a second term as President. If he receives a second term there will be no recovery from the damage he will do.

If he wins a second term he will probably have the opportunity to appoint two more Supreme Court Justices. If that happens and the SCOTUS hears this case the Second Amendment could be rewritten in favor of the UN and the liberal/anti-gun crowd.

The primary duty of the President of the United States is to protect the freedom of Americans, not to conspire with foreign interests to take our freedom and rights away from us.

Sarah Palin: President Obama Is a Liar

Sarah Palin: "The Truth Is That Obama is Lying"

"The truth is that President Obama is lying. He’s not just misstating. He’s not just misconstruing some facts or some data. No, he's lying when he says that those with Down Syndrome, that those with autism, those that need that safety net will be left on their own if the Republicans have their way. That is not true.”

Blog author's comment - We always seem to need Sarah Palin to tell the truth about Obama’s demagoguery. The elected members of the GOP won’t do it.

For far too long it has been taboo to call someone in politics a liar. Many people are tired of this. If someone is lying, particularly the president, the media should demand the truth - with today's leftist media, no chance of that. The only truth you will hear is from conservative talk radio, the thorn in Obama's side.

Our entire nation suffers when lies are left to stand unchallenged by the media. But, those of us who follow the political scene know full well that the MSM has been covering for the Democrat Party for many decades. They had not been as transparent or blatant as they were during the George W. Bush years and now the cover up of Obama's every lie, and the spin of his agenda and policies for the country.

More Miscellaneous Lies By Liberals

From the . . .

Lie: We don't think that's a matter of demagoguery.
--White House spokesman Jay Carney talking about Obama's opposition to Ryan's budget. Why then did Obama invite Paul Ryan to a speech in order to insult him?

Lie: This is dangerous.

Lie: They [Republicans] wanted to cut the Medicaid program which cuts a big hole in the safety net for the poor to get their health care needs which means people in nursing homes would be dumped out of those nursing homes.
--Democrat Rep. Henry Waxman. No, Henry, Republicans don't want to kick people out of nursing homes. We want to reform the system so it works without bankrupting the nation.

--House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer. Yes, America is broke, that is why there is a huge fight over how to control our spending over the coming decades.

Sarah Palin's Daughter Provides Protection

Palin: Piper Sorry For Pushing Photographer

myfoxphilly - JERSEY CITY, N.J. - Sarah Palin took a moment while talking to the press Wednesday to hand out flowers and say her daughter, Piper, is sorry for pushing a photographer.

Palin may have been referring to some of what was caught bhy cameras during the former Alaska governor and vice-presidential running mate's quick "One Nation" tour visit Tuesday to Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell.

Piper, 10, could be seen putting her body in front of a reporter trying to interview her mother in one clip captured by Fox 29's Chris O'Connell.

Later, as a large swarm of media surrounded a walking and talking Palin, Piper could be seen lifting into the air microphones held toward her mother.

Then, as the family prepared to climb into an SUV, Piper pushed away another reporter's microphone and said "thank you" to try and stop questions of her mom, who was still answering questions.

Outside the Hyatt Hotel in Jersey City on Wednesday, Palin dodged questions on her possible presidential run and made light of her pizza date with Donald Trump the previous evening. She was headed to the Statue of Liberty with Piper in tow.

And aide tried to wrap things up, saying they had to catch a ferry. But Palin spoke up and said to reporters, "No, Piper apologizes for pushing kinda one of the photographers the other day. She was trying to protect me. So, she's going to give her little flower to somebody."

When Piper turned and seemed to shy away, embarrassed, her mother tried to encourage her to hand them out. But Piper handed them to mom and walked away.

Blog author's comments - I thought Piper Palin was great. I must say she has a lot of her Mother's fight, even though she is only 10 years old.

Also, I do not think what Piper Palin did required an apology to the reporters/photographers.

Obama's Policies Paved Way To Current Economy

'We’re on the verge of a great, great depression.'

CNBC - Wall Street is having a hard time figuring out what to do now that the U.S. economy appears to be sputtering and yields are so low, Peter Yastrow, market strategist for Yastrow Origer, told CNBC.

"What we’ve got right now is almost near panic going on with money managers and people who are responsible for money," he said. "They can not find a yield and you just don’t want to be putting your money into commodities or things that are punts that might work out or they might not depending on what happens with the economy.

"We need to find real yield and real returns on these assets. You see bad data, you see Treasurys rally, you see all bonds and all fixed-income rally and then the people who are betting against the U.S. economy start getting bearish on stocks. That’s a huge mistake."

Stocks extended losses after the manufacturing fell below expectations in May and the private sector added only 38,000 jobs during the month.

"Interest rates are amazingly low and that, thanks to Ben Bernanke, is driving everything," Yastrow said. "We’re on the verge of a great, great depresson. The [Federal Reserve] knows it. - Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - If you voted for Obama to prove you are not a racist, in 2012 vote for somebody else to prove you are not an idiot.

The liberal democrats must be so proud, they are very close to destroying the greatest nation to ever exist and they have one man to thank for it.

Four more years of Obama, we must not let that happen because he will never stop!
