Just a Guess - Not An Obama Supporter

Is it Possible This Guy is Upset With The President?

Do you think he is fired up? Check out his license plate, if it's for real I am surprised it was issued. The guy is not afraid to let everyone know his opinion of Obama.

Quite a collection of stickers...I like the "Next time think before you vote." How about, "Time to play Cowboys & Muslims". Another good one, "Without the 2nd Amendment nothing else matters."

Another favorite on the truck.

I have no doubt what the owner of this truck thinks of Obama.

Blog author's comments - Nothing to add, this guy has made it quite clear.

Rush Limbaugh - Interview On Fox News

Rush Limbaugh on Fox News Greta: "You're Either With Obama and Dems or With America, You Can't Have Both"

"I think we're in the midst of a disaster, the Obama Administration, the regime and its agenda is a disaster for this country as founded, there is a systematic destruction of the private sector of this country taking place"

Blog author's comments - I agree with Limbaugh. I want Obama and the Democrats to fail with what they are attempting to do to America.

It is 'crunch time'. The Democrats have to be derailed November 2. I want to see Pelosi removed from her position as the Speaker of the House. I want to see Harry Reid gone forever.

We have the chance to dethrone these people and many more Democrats and RINO's. If it doesn't happen with the midterm elections, we will have lost the greatest chance we will have to take back our country!

Ohio Gov. Strickland Supporter - Pours Hot Coffee on Citizen Camerman

Dems gone wild - Ohio Gov. Strickland Supporter Pours Hot Coffee on Citizen Cameraman

A Republican staffer (and Iraq War vet) has hot coffee poured down his back by a Strickland supporter while trying to videotape Gov. Strickland's remarks at a campaign event.

The assailant later returns to make an obscene gesture. Authorities are trying to identify the man in this video. If you can assist, contact the Scioto County Sheriff's Office at (740) 497-1120.

Blog author's comments - So this is the type of person that supports Gov. Strickland in his bid for re-election. Let's not forget - the Democrats and the MSM continue to portray the Tea Party movement people as mean-spirited and racist.

If you vote in Ohio, vote for Republican John Kasich for Governor. At present he has a slight lead over Strickland.

Democrat Gov. Strickland, has done absolutely nothing to improve the state of Ohio. Strickland follows the same economic agenda as Barrack Hussein Obama.

Harry Reid - The Illegal Aliens & National Security

A Leftist Wish List vs. National Security

Ask Heritage - One of the foremost responsibilities of the federal government is to ensure the security of our nation. It is right there, in the Preamble of the Constitution. But Harry Reid ignored it. He continues to push the Senate Bill FY 2011 National Defense Authorization Act. This legislation is necessary to fund the defense of the United States and its interests abroad. The House already passed their bill in May. But Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) would rather talk about amnesty.

Why is Reid doing this? One only need look at the polling data. Reid is in a dead-heat reelection battle with State Rep. Sharon Angle (R). That is why Reid bypassed usual Senate procedure and included “the DREAM Act” in the defense bill.

The DREAM Act creates a “path to citizenship” for illegal immigrants who entered the U.S. before the age of 16, have lived here for 5 years, and either serve in the military or attend college. But the bill also prohibits the government from deporting anyone who has filed an application for the program. This essentially gives amnesty to anyone who applies regardless of whether they actually qualify for the act’s protections.

By itself the Dream Act is terrible policy. Forcing this measure into the defense authorization bill is just shameful.

This is not the first time Reid has pulled this stunt. Last year’s defense bill, The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2010, expanded federal hate crime laws. What did that have to do with national security?

Reid’s hijacking of the defense bill for his reelection purposes is exactly why the American people have such a low approval of Congress. - Entire column

Blog author's comments - Harry Reid is a disgrace. How can anyone living in the state of Nevada vote for this man?

Reid wants what Obama wants. To buy a voting block of illegals by giving them amnesty. The Democrats are arrogant enough to believe no one is paying attention to whatever underhanded trick they try. Even when discovered, few in the MSM will report it.

Illegal aliens are just that - Illegal! This is only one reason why the Republicans must gain power in the midterm elections. This has to stop. Expose the harm Obama and the Democrats have already done. Obama cannot be allowed to be a two term President.

My wish is to see Harry Reid defeated by Sharon Angle and for the GOP to win a majority in the House, which would take away Nancy Pelosi's power.

Speaker of the House Says Democrats Will Win

Pelosi Predicts ‘Great Democratic Victory’

The Speaker of the House may be surprised in November

Nancy Pelosi - Interviewed By NPR
PELOSI: "The momentum is with us. We are out there to dispel many of the misrepresentations that have been going on for nearly two years by the Republicans and the special interests, the oil industry, the health insurance industry, the banks and their allies."

Blog author's comments - Nancy Pelosi believes that what she and the Democrat Party have done in less than two years, has been good for the country.

"We are out there to dispel many of the misrepresentations that have been going on for nearly two years by the Republicans." What misrepresentations? Pelosi, the Obama Administration, with your help, has been a disaster!

Obama, Pelosi and Reid are a nightmare. The country has fallen so far so fast. If these people are in office for eight years, we will not recognize our country.

An extremely important election - November 2, 2010.

Bareback Horse Riding Competition

A Remarkable Horse and Woman

Very Nice Performance by Both

This woman riding the horse is in her twenties - her dad had died 24 days before this performance. You can hear the dedication to him just before the performance begins.

Notice that there is not a saddle, stirrups, reins or bit: Just a young woman and a horse as one. One remarkable young lady and one very remarkable horse. She just uses signals and verbal cues.

This isn't her horse. She is training it for someone else, although she obviously has a very strong relationship with this one.

The rider's name is Stacy Westfall, and the horse is 'Wizards Babydoll'. Ms. Westfall has ridden most of her life, and began training horses at an early age.

(Music - Tim McGraw singing - "Live like you were dying")

Blog author's comments - Ms. Westfall has her own training facility. She received a degree in equestrian studies, and her husband is also an expert horseman. Quite nice to spend her life, doing something she thoroughly enjoys.

Nancy Pelosi - Least Liked Congressional Leader

Congressional Favorability Ratings

Speaker of the House - Nancy Pelosi, Remains Least Liked Congressional Leader

34% favorable, 59% unfavorable
With less than six weeks to go until Election Day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi remains the most unpopular of the four top congressional leaders as she has been since this session of Congress began early last year. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is a close second.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters have an unfavorable opinion of Pelosi, including 47% who view the San Francisco Democrat Very Unfavorably. Thirty-four percent (34%) regard Pelosi favorably, with 12% Very Favorable toward her. Only seven percent (7%) have no opinion of the speaker.

Since February of last year, Pelosi’s favorables have ranged from a low of 28% to a high of 43% in April just after passage of the national health care bill. Her unfavorables have run from 52% to 64%.

Reid, who is struggling for reelection in Nevada, is seen favorably by 30% and unfavorably by 50%. This includes Very Favorables of six percent (6%) and Very Unfavorables of 33%.- Read more
When Nancy Pelosi came to power, she promised that the Democrats will have "most honest and most ethical congress in history."

Blog author's comments - Nancy Pelosi: Your approval rating, according to the Rasmussen poll, does not surprise me. Anyone who has followed your career, especially during the last four years, should understand why your rating is so low. You should not be a member of Congress.

The midterms don't look so good for your fellow Democrats. I have heard the party leadership has determined that this is just a simple problem of those running for office mis-communicating with the voters. The leadership has concluded that faulty messaging is the problem. They believe that just a few simple changes in the candidates message is all that is needed.

Here are their simple tips for re-election:

1. Avoid talking about your legislative accomplishments.
2. Avoid talking about party leadership.
3. It’s about the minority (other) party, not about you.
4. Winning Message : No matter how bad things are, things could always be worse.
5. Winning Message : The best things always cost more (make Health Reform a winner).
6. Winning Message : Tax cuts for the rich hurts you.
7. Winning Message : Bush never really left office, he is still running things.
8. A timeless winner for every election: Accuse the other party of racism.

Nancy Pelosi, I really hope to see you pass your gavel to a member of the Republican Party in January.

A Few Videos - To Lighten the Mood

Cats are great. Mine was the best ever! This bright, strong boy, I believe - has fixed the printer problem.

This is quite amazing, a dolphin stampede. So many dolphins at one time. Beautiful!

I have had one dog in my life and he was very special. This is also a special dog.

Pepsi, Italian style. I think you will enjoy it, especially, if you were a fan of Marlon Brando, in the 'Godfather' movie.

A baseball video of a great catch by a ball girl. This is an amazing catch.

Blog author's comments - Nothing to add, hope you enjoy the videos.

10 Things Obama Should Do at the UN

Ten Things Obama Should Do at the United Nations This Week
By: Richard Grenell
When Barack Obama was campaigning to be president of the United States in 2008, he frequently promised Americans that he would lead the world. In fact, he and his team relentlessly pounded President George W. Bush for “going it alone” and alienating our friends and allies around the globe.

His then-campaign foreign policy advisor and current U.S. Ambassador to the UN Susan Rice even joked about how, if elected, they would repair the damage and lead the UN in a way that the Bush team couldn't.

But after almost 2 years on the job, Rice and Obama haven’t been able to garner support from the UN to implement U.S. foreign policy priorities as they said they would.

As President Obama goes back to the UN this week, there are 10 things he should do to more forcefully push for progress on U.S. priorities and more aggressively defend the U.S.:

1. Make clear that the Arizona law the UN attacked was written to stop illegal immigration, not prohibit legal immigration.

2. Call out the Human Rights Council for yet another disastrous year of Israel bashing and overlooking rights violators.

3. Nominate a U.S. Ambassador level person to tackle UN reform and UN budget waste, fraud, abuse and duplicity.

4. Ask Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to investigate the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to ascertain how erroneous scientific claims were added to official UN reports.

5. Make clear that the United States will not unilaterally disarm its nuclear weapons and will not support restrictions on private firearm ownership.- All 10 points & Entire column

Blog author's comments - Good points, but how many of them will Obama address?

Most of us know, there will be no peace in the Mideast until Israel along with help, finally removes a few of it's many enemies. Their enemies won't worry about that while Obama is the President. Israel will have to go it alone.

Also - make it clear that the U.S. will not unilaterally disarm its nuclear weapons and will not support restrictions on private firearm ownership. Excellent point from the above column.

Twenty months into the tenure of Obama's presidency, what has he accomplished with regard to the UN? Not much. He has talked to some countries, offering apologies from the United States and again blaming George W. Bush for many of the worlds problems.

Other than the 'Apology Tour' he has had minimal involvement in foreign policy. Of course he was forced into some action with regard to Iraq and Afghanistan.

I believe he is somewhat surprised, because he no doubt thought that a speech and hand shake and let's not forget an occasional bow, would change the minds of many UN members. I believe what they do see is a weaker U.S. President.

The UN meetings are worthless.

Great Invention - The Patriot Micro Chip

The Patriot Micro Chip

The Patriot Micro Chip is intended to be implanted in terrorists. The implant is specifically designed to be installed in the forehead. When properly installed it will allow the implantee to speak to God.

It comes in various sizes:

The exact size of the implant will be selected by a well-trained and highly-skilled technician. The implant may or may not be painless. Side effects, like headaches and nausea, are temporary. Some bleeding or swelling may occur at the injection site.

Blog author's comments - I don't believe any further explanation is required. I am thankful that our country has the skilled troops who protect us.

The Marines…they certainly excel in the best methods to “Reach out and Touch Someone Today.” The Army has some very good practioneers of the same policy of Patriot injection as well. They all do an excellent job.

A Basic Right - The 2nd Amendment

Suzanne Gratia Hupp explains meaning of 2nd Amendment

Texas Monthly talks with Ted Nugent

Blog author's comments - The last time the Supreme Court ruled on the Second Amendment, at least five Justices knew tyranny is never far away. So they did what was right and true for all of America.

What is a bit scary and pathetic, was that the vote on the Second Amendment was so close, 5-4. Too close for comfort, it should have been 9-0.

The liberals on the Supreme Court apparently do not believe in the Second Amendment or the Constitution. You can be sure that prior to the election of 2012, Ruth Bader Ginsburg will retire, so Obama can appoint yet another hard core liberal, as he has with his last two appointees.

This is the big problem folks, if Obama or another Democrat should win in 2012, they may have the chance to appoint a fifth liberal. If that happens, the Constitution will most certainly be rewritten. The First and Second Amendments will look nothing like they were meant to be.

Colin Powell - RINO & Obama Supporter

Colin Powell is not a Republican. I think his support for Barack Hussein Obama is based solely on race. These may be harsh words when talking about a General and former Secretary of State, but that's what I believe.

Powell on 'Meet the Press’-”Republicans have got to take a hard look at some of the positions they've been taking. We can't be anti-immigration, for example. Because immigrants are fueling this country. Without immigrants we would be like Europe or Japan with an aging population and no young people coming in to take care of it. We have to educate our immigrants."

Mr. Powell, yes we can be anti-immigration, with the way Obama wants it to be. Immigrants can come to our country legally; this is not what Obama wants. Obama can see a day when he signs a bill which will give all the illegals amnesty; he is counting the future voters for the Democrat Party.

Powell On The President - "You just can't say no to everything, you just can't sit around blaming everything on the President."

Sir - we can and have every right to blame the President when we disagree with his policies and agenda for our country.

Powell also said - on the tea party activists who are driving the opposition against Obama: "This movement doesn't become a real force until it's — until it starts to talk to the issues," Powell said. "I want to cut spending. I want to have lower taxes. But how do you do that? You can't just have slogans. You can't just have catchy phrases. You have to have an agenda."

Colin Powell, the 'Tea Party' movement does have an agenda, they are talking the issues. They want your man Obama to get the hell out of the way and let the country function as it should. They do not want the country molded into something Obama believes it should be.

He ignores Obama's view on immigration.

I have very little respect for this man.

Powell on the tea party: "You can't just have slogans"

Blog author's comments - Powell endorsed Obama for President. The reason he made the appearance on "Meet the Depressed" yesterday, was to try and help Obama and the Democrats for the midterm elections.

If Obama cared about illegal immigration, he would not have had the Feds file suit against Arizona to stop the law the people passed to try to save their state. This law was needed to do what the federal government refuses to do.

Most of the problems we now have are because of the Obama Administration. Colin Powell you are not a Republican and cannot be trusted as you once were. Please, just go away, you have no credibility as far as I am concerned.

Gingrich - Secular Socialists & Radical Islamists

Gingrich blasts Democratic establishment at annual summit

CNN Washington -- Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich repeatedly brought social conservatives to their feet Saturday with an impassioned address in which he warned that America faces a dual threat from the Democratic establishment on the one hand and Islamic terrorists on the other.

"We are at a point where our establishment is sliding into policies of such disastrous impact that they will in fact fundamentally challenge the survival of America as we know it," Gingrich said during his speech to the fifth annual Values Voter Summit in Washington.

"On the one front we have a secular socialist machine led by (President) Obama, (House Speaker Nancy) Pelosi, and (Senate Majority Leader Harry) Reid, and on the other front we have radical Islamists who would fundamentally change this country into a system none of us in this room would recognize," he continued to thunderous applause.

Gingrich also took aim at Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who recently sent a letter to insurance industry leaders warning them not to "falsely blame premium increases" on the recently passed health care legislation.

"If she's going to represent left-wing thought police about Obamacare, she should be forced to resign by the new Congress," he said.

Perhaps the former House Speaker's loudest applause came when he weighed in on the controversial Islamic center and mosque proposed to be built near ground zero, declaring, "We as Americans don't have to tolerate people who are supportive of violence against us, building something at the sight of the violence."

"This is not about religious liberty, they want to build that mosque in the South Bronx, frankly they need the jobs," he said. "But I am totally opposed to any effort to impose Sharia on the United States, and we should have a federal law that says under no circumstance, in any jurisdiction in the United States, will Sharia be used in any court to apply to any judgment made about American law."

Gingrich also laid heavy praise on the "energy" of the Tea Party movement and its newest victor, Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell in Delaware, who defeated longtime Congressman Mike Castle. - Entire column

Blog author's comments - Newt Gingrich is a passionate, articulate and very intelligent man. He is right; we are stuck in the middle of two enemies. Progressives and Islamists appear to be a dual threat.

I am also totally opposed to any effort to impose Sharia on the United States. But, if the Democrats remain in power and Obama is in office for two terms, you will see Sharis used against us by liberal judges. This is serious folks.

Gingrich is of course testing the waters for a possible bid for president. The problem the Republicans now face is selecting someone who is electable in 2012. The Republicans cannot lose the 2012 election. If they do, I cannot see them ever regaining the power to turn around what the Obama Administration and his supporters will have accomplished.

With that said, can Sarah Palin win as a presidential candidate? Her poll numbers continue to climb, I like her very much and yes I would vote for her. But I am still not convinced she can win. I would not hesitate to have her as the VP candidate.

Could I back Newt Gingrich? Yes, possibly with his running mate being Palin. The names that are mentioned at this point, two years from the presidential election, are Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Mitt Romney, Mike Pence and others. It is too early to say who I believe to be our best chance for victory.

If Obama runs in 2012, I look for him to dump Biden and pick up Hillary Clinton. This would help his chance of winning a second term. I also believe Clinton still wants another run for president.

We still have two years before the 2012 election. The future is this November. The Republicans have to gain power to stop what is now happening to the country in the midterm election. If not, we can almost forget about 2012.

Sarah Palin - Pumps Up Iowa Party Faithful

Sarah Palin, In Iowa speech, says Republicans should unite

Palin At the Iowa Republican Ronald Reagan Dinner.

"This nonsense like today we see California auditors having to admit that there in L.A. there were a handful of jobs created with your stimulus money, about 50 some jobs to the tune of $111 million dollars, that's about $2.2 million dollars for every job saved or created there, and I'm the idiot? Hmmm, yeah"

Desmoines Register
Sarah Palin offered a full-throated call to arms for angry and out-of-power Republicans on Friday in front of an audience of some of the nation's most influential party activists as the headliner for a sold-out Iowa GOP fundraiser in Des Moines.

But the former Alaska governor only winked at the significance of her appearance in the state where the campaigns for the lead off presidential caucuses are expected to crank up in a matter of months.

Palin joked after taking the stage at Hy-Vee Hall that her husband, Todd, urged her to work out inside after they arrived in Des Moines on Friday.

"Todd says, 'I guarantee, if anyone spots you in tennis shoes, the headline is going to be in Vanity Fair. They're going to say, "Palin in Iowa, decides to run," Palin said.

Later, Palin batted away the buzz that confronted her in Iowa, urging the roughly 1,500 guests to focus on the election that's now less than seven weeks away.

"We can't wait until 2012 to get our country back on the right track," she said. "We need to start now by electing strong Republican leaders who aren't afraid to shake it up."- Entire column

Blog author's comments -I believe this was a good speech from Sarah Palin. I listened to her during the 2008 campaign and was able to meet her at a fundraiser I attended. I was impressed with the talk she gave at the fundraiser, but she is now much better, polished and confident.

That said, she has retained her freshness and does not sound to me like the typical ‘politician’. This is why her poll numbers continue to rise, even with the constant hit pieces from almost everyone on the left.

If she decides not to run for office again, she has become an excellent spokesperson for a conservative movement in the country. She is the type of person that is needed in our party and government. If the Republicans do prevail in 2010 and 2012, there will be a place for Palin in Washington if she desires it.

Hopefully it is not too late for a Republican push to regain the House, Senate and win the 2012 presidential election. I see much more liberalism in the country and these people will do whatever it takes to hang on to what they believe is rightfully theirs. The Democrats cannot be allowed to control our government and our lives.

Michelle Obama - White House Life Is Hell

White House denies Mrs. Obama made 'hell' comment

Washington Post
Thursday, 9/16/2010
The White House is denying that first lady Michelle Obama ever described her White House life as "hell." Mrs. Obama's spokeswoman, Katie McCormick Lelyveld, responded Thursday to a purported comment attributed to Mrs. Obama in a forthcoming book, "Carla and the Ambitious," about French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.

The book says Bruni-Sarkozy recalled that during a recent White House visit with her husband, the French president, she asked Mrs. Obama about her new role. According to the book, Mrs. Obama replied: "It's hell. I can't stand it."

The French Embassy in Washington also released a statement denying that Mrs. Obama ever said those words. The Embassy says Bruni-Sarkozy "distances herself completely" from the book, which is due out Friday.

Blog author's comments - (Ms. Bruni-Sarkozy was reported to have collaborated on the book with writers Yves Derai and Michael Darmon).

I really don't care if life in the White House has been "hell" for Mrs. Obama. Apparently the statement attributed to Mrs. Obama, is in the book by French first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.

I will add, that to have had the Obama family in the White House for less than two years, has been "hell" for many people in this country. Hopefully, after the 2012 election, they will move.

Democrats - Have Still Not Passed a Budget

CNN's Jack Cafferty Blasts Democrats for Punting on Budget, Highlights GOP Efforts to Hold Democrats Accountable.

Jack Cafferty commented in the "Cafferty File": "At a time of skyrocketing federal deficits and a national debt that just passed $13 trillion, the Democrats in Congress can’t be bothered to pass a budget for next year."

"That’s their job. Congress is supposed to decide how to spend the taxpayers' money. They are mandated to pass a budget; and presumably to stick to it… but that’s a whole other story. Yet efforts to pass a budget have stalled in the House because Democrats can't agree on what and how much to cut. See, it's an election year – can't be seen cutting things in an election year." "It’s simply outrageous."

"Republicans say Democrats are making a 'huge mistake' by not passing a budget; and they’re right. House Minority Leader John Boehner suggests Pres. Obama should find someone’s 'ass to kick' when it comes to the budget deficit. He says the GOP will be relentless about this issue."

Blog author's comments - The Democrats face a big problem on spending. They have added billions of dollars to the federal tab over the last year and a half, telling us that it will help the economy and create jobs. But the unemployment rate still remains high, and pressure builds from Republicans and members of their own party to stop the out of control spending.

The Democrats have not passed a budget, and from what I have heard, may end this session in Washington early, to go home and campaign. So, who knows when a budget will be passed?

Most economists agree that the debt must be reduced. This is the only way to create private sector jobs and help the economy to begin a recovery. Most companies will not invest or hire until they feel better about what the government is doing and the economy improves. The government has a record deficit but no budget bill.

I can only assume from listening to Barack Hussein Obama for almost two years that this must also be the fault of George W. Bush!

GOP Establishment vs. Christine O'Donnell

Christine O'Donnell Wins over Michael Castle in Delaware Senate Primary - Republican Establishment, Not Happy!

Karl Rove Rips Into Christine O'Donnell on Fox News Hannity, Right After Her Primary Win.

Sean Hannity defended O'Donnell staunchly, but was met with a litany of Rove criticism of O'Donnell.

Laura Ingraham Responds To Rove and the GOP: "They Are Missing The Tide, I Think It Is Far Bigger and Far More Profound Than They Understand"

It's "an out of touch elite who still don't understand the people of America, I think they look down on the tea party"

Ingraham:"She's [O'Donnell] not the perfect candidate, no she isn't, it's gonna be a tough race in Delaware but it's gonna be a lot tougher because Democrats are getting help from elite Republicans to defeat her."

Blog author's comments - I have always liked Karl Rove but after listening to his comments concerning Christine O'Donnell, I don't agree with him. I have also followed Laura Ingraham and thought she made some good points about the elite GOP.

Castle has been in office for over 15 years, but many times he votes with the Democrats. So...why does the Republican establishment want to continue with the same strategy that put us where we are now? With O'Donnell we may have a chance of putting a conservative in office.

I assume the GOP will continue to support the two female RINO's in Maine? They also support RINO John McCain from Arizona. These people are Republicans, but they certainly don't help in providing a movement towards a more conservative Republican party.

We held the office of President, the House and Senate and now we have nothing. If the GOP manages a victory in November, they had better change their mindset in a hurry or they will find themselves in the same position they are today.

I don't even want to think of what this country will be, if Obama wins in 2012 and serves two terms as the President.

Obama Lied & He Continues To Lie!

The 'L' word

American Thinker
By Aaron Gee

What do you call a person that tells you one thing, but knows that isn't true? For instance, in March the President said "My proposal would bring down the cost of health care for millions — families, businesses and the federal government."

On Friday our President seemed to get a small dose of reality when he said "As a consequence of us getting 30 million additional people health care, at the margins that's going to increase our costs—we knew that." If this dramatic about face was an isolated incident, perhaps one could chalk it up as a "mistake." It isn't isolated.

The biggest whopper from Friday is this gem "So these policies of cutting taxes for the wealthiest Americans, of stripping away regulations that protect consumers, running up a record surplus to a record deficit — those policies finally culminated in the worst financial crisis we've had since the Great Depression." No mention of Fannie or Freddie and the housing bubble that was government created. No mention of the skyrocketing energy prices that lit the fuse to the economic meltdown.

It's obvious to all but the most ideologically driven that President Obama has no working knowledge of what drives our economies problems and certainly no experience with solutions that can fix those problems. What President Obama does have is an ideology and facts cannot dissuade him from those beliefs. The President's world view makes him especially dangerous to America because he believes what he says regardless of the consequences or facts.

It is considered poor form to use the "L" word in politics. Instead of the blunt direct language used by most Americans, politicians use euphemisms like "miss spoke ", "was mistaken", etc. Unlike politicians, Americans are more blunt. The President's sophistry when promoting health care combined with his constant demagoguery on the economy has led many Americans to one conclusion; he lied. - Entire column

Blog author's comments - So many people refused to educate themselves as to who Obama was and his plan for the country. Obama continued to lie but was never challenged and is still not by the liberal media.

Bill Clinton was and is a good liar but I believe Obama is now the best liar to ever occupy the White House. If the people would simply listen to what he says, it is obvious that it is not and cannot be true, but the MSM covers for him.

The time to be politically correct is over. The Democrats are out to destroy us and America as we know it. We can expect nothing less from the Democrats. I keep hoping that the Republicans will make "repeal" a key platform for the mid-term elections.

Republicans need a few true conservative leaders to stop the radical agenda Obama is following for this country. If the GOP gains some power in November, they had better take advantage of it. They may never get another chance.

Things I Know About The Iraq War

Two or Three Things I Know About the Iraq War

By Scott Spiegel
In anticipation of President Barack Obama’s primetime address to the nation on the Iraq War, columnist Eugene Robinson wrote, “Now that the Iraq War is over… only one thing is clear about the outcome: We didn’t win.”

Actually, I can think of about 12 things that are clearer about the outcome of the Iraq War than the conclusion that we didn’t win:
(1) Obama was wrong about the surge.
(2) Vice President Joe Biden was wrong about the surge.
(3) President George W. Bush was right to ignore Congressional Democrats and the Iraq Study Group and order the surge in 2007.
Insurgent violence dropped precipitously after the surge was implemented.
(5) If Democrats had their way on the surge in Iraq, per Harry Reid’s declaration that “this war is lost,” it would have been lost.
(6) Biden was wrong about dividing Iraq into ethnic partitions.
(7) Biden is a loon for claiming that the Iraq War could be one of the great successes of the Obama administration.
(8) Iraq is now the fourth-most politically free Middle Eastern country, after democracy Israel, republic Lebanon, and constitutional monarchy Morocco.
(9) General David Petraeus’ Iraq surge set the model for beating back insurgents and winning in Afghanistan.
(10) Despite liberals’ bleating about its expense, eight years of the Iraq War—including training and preparation for the March 2003 invasion—now turn out to have cost less ($709 billion) than Obama’s useless trillion-dollar stimulus bill.
Bush’s popularity didn’t sink to the level that Obama’s is at now until late 2005, two-and-a-half years into the Iraq War and well into Bush’s second term.
(12) Obama’s address last was full of bromides, revisionist history, and platitudinous prescriptions for the future that have little relation to what will actually need to be done in the War on Terror according to a fair evaluation of conditions on the ground.

But then I’m not Eugene Robinson, who recently called those who wanted an investigation into Park51 mosque supporter Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf’s radical ties “loudmouths,” “fraidy-cats,” and “professional victims,” dismissed Tea Partiers as racists, and called Dr. Alveeda King a “puppet” for appearing at Glen Beck’s Restoring Honor rally.

Oh, and: (13) If anyone deserves to give a triumphal speech marking the end of combat operations in Iraq, it is Bush, Petraeus, Vice President Dick Cheney, or Kermit the Frog—anyone but Obama, who opposed the war from the start and voted as U.S. senator to defund it.

And: (14) Obama has learned nothing about the danger of prematurely promising to remove our troops by a certain date and the fortifying effect this has on our enemy, as demonstrated by his declaration in his speech that we will begin removing troops from Afghanistan in July 2011 according to his preordained schedule, and by his standing commitment to remove all 50,000 troops still stationed in Iraq by the end of 2011. . .
See entire column here

Blog author's comments - I obviously thought the above column was worth reading. It was different to see a column on the Iraq War that gave Bush credit for some of the decisions he made.

I will add that Obama is totally wrong for our country and I cannot imagine anyone who could be worse. Biden is also incompetent, but this is no surprise. Look at how many inept 'lawmakers' have been elected to the House and Senate and remain there for decades.

I am also disappointed in the upsurge of liberal voters we now have in the country. With the liberal mindset so many voters and lawmakers have, we will become a weaker society. The country can also expect a greater chance for more terrorist attacks. Do you believe Obama is worried about this? I don't think he is, not when he announces to the enemy in Afghanistan when the U.S. troops will be pulled from the country.

George W. Bush was not the president I thought he would be. Bush made many mistakes and disappointed me many times. Bush was not a true conservative.

I do believe Bush was a person who cared for the country and it's people. I do not believe this about our current Commander In Chief. If I could trade what Obama has done to the country in less than two years for eight more years of George W. Bush, would I do it? You Betcha!

The Biggest Tax Increase In US History!

The Bush Tax Cuts Are Gone In January.

See the following tax increases that the Obama Administration has in place, which will affect all of us.

Are you ready for the biggest tax increase in US history? Ready or not, it’s coming unless Congress acts before the end of the year. That’s because the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts will expire on December 31st, 2010. That means that everyone's taxes will go up...right in the middle of a recession!

Personal income tax rates will go up!

-35% goes to 39.6%

- 33% goes to 36%

- 28% goes to 31%

- 25% goes to 28%

- And 10% goes to 15%

- The “marriage tax” penalty comes back

- Capital gains taxes go up from 15% to 20%

- Dividend taxes go up from 15% to 39.6%

- And the “death tax” goes from 0% up to a top rate of 55%!

It will be the largest tax hike in American history! And it’s set to happen AUTOMATICALLY under current law – unless Congress acts!
Obama, August don't raise taxes in a recession. "We have not proposed a tax hike for the wealthy that would take effect in the middle of a recession...the last thing you want to do is raise taxes in the middle of a recession because that would suck up, and take more demand out of the economy and put businesses in a further hole."

Blog author's comments - Not much for me to add. You see what the Obama Administration already has in place which will automatically kick in this January.

You can also listen to the president talk about taxes. Obama told us he would not raise taxes for the middle class, he has also said he would not raise taxes on the wealthy during a recession.

The above data proves otherwise. What he has in place will affect us all. The man lied, that should not surprise anyone.

The Outlook Dims for Democrats

A summer of polling data suggests the GOP can take the House
With the midterm election less than two months away, all signs point to a punishing defeat for Democrats in the House of Representatives.

They show that Democratic incumbents trail GOP challengers in 30 districts and are behind in seven of nine open Democratic seats. By comparison, GOP incumbents are ahead in seven of the eight contests polled and Republican hopefuls lead in four of the six races for GOP open seats. If Republicans prevailed in these fights, they would net 34 of the 39 seats they need to win the House.

It could get worse. Of the 36 polls in which Democratic incumbents led, Republican challengers were within three points in 12 contests and within five points in 18 others. By contrast, in the 55 polls in which the GOP leads, the Republican is ahead by more than five points in 36. And in all but two instances in which data are available, the Democrat incumbents are significantly better known than their GOP challengers. As these challengers become better known, they're likely to rise in the polls. . . Entire column
Blog author's comments - - I continue to hear and read that the GOP has a good chance to take back the House in November. I have also heard some say the GOP could win the Senate. This is polling data and we have all seen that polls can be very inaccurate.

Personally, I don't need a poll to tell me that the Republican Party can win the House. If they do not, I don't know what it will take to pry the Democrats from power. I have never seen an administration as inept and entirely wrong for this country as the Obama administration.

If the GOP does not win big, that tells both me and most importantly, the Democrats, that most of the voters still agree and approve of what Obama is doing, and think his fellow Democrats are also good for the country.

They must also agree with Obama's policies, agenda, and out of control spending. I will also assume they are okay with the governments take over of the health care system, and are content with the unemployment rate at 10% with little or no job creation in the near future.

Clinton: UN - Important Global Institution

Hillary Clinton: United Nations is "Single Most Important Global Institution"

CNS News
In a speech before the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) on Wednesday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton praised the work of the United Nations and said it is “the single most important global institution.”

At the CFR in Washington, D.C., Clinton said, “Now the U.N. remains the single most important global institution. We are constantly reminded of its value: The Security Council enacting sanctions against Iran and North Korea. Peacekeepers patrolling the streets of Monrovia and Port-au-Prince. Aid workers assisting flood victims in Pakistan and displaced people in Darfur.”

“The United States believes that the Council must be able to react to and reflect today’s world,” Clinton said. “We favor Security Council reform that enhances the U.N.'s overall performance, effectiveness and efficiency to meet the challenges of the new century.” - Entire column

Blog author's comments - Only a leftist liberal like Hillary Clinton, would utter this. As I have said before, I believe the United Nations to be a worthless organization.

Most of the members are anti-United States and Israel. I do wish they would move the U.N. headquarters out of the United States and let the other countries pay the bill for these people. Mrs. Clinton, the U.N. in my opinion has very little credibility.

Robert Gibbs - Economy Better Than 2 Years Ago

Robert Gibbs: "By Virtually Any Measure, Our Economy is in a Better Place Than it Was Two Years ago."

The Democrats talked down a good economy to get elected and now try to talk up a terrible economy to stay in power.

Robert Gibbs also said: "There are, I think, Americans rightly concerned about our debt and our deficit, and the President understands that and has taken steps to introduce a budget that includes a freeze on non-security discretionary spending, and obviously will spend a decent amount of time in the next many months going through the medium and long term -- things that we need to do in the medium and long term to get our debt and deficit under control."

Hey Gibbs! Americans are concerned about our debt and our deficit? The Dems have figured this out have they? Let's take a look at what Obama has done to the economy in such a short amount of time. It seems clear to me and many others that he does not have a clue!

Uemployment rate: August 2008=6.1% vs. August 2010=9.6%

Obama also managed to triple the deficit this year. How’s that for hope and change?

Blog author's comments - Barack Hussein Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid with all their puppets in the House and Senate, have been the largest disaster to this nations economy in my lifetime.

They tried to create a better economy with out of control spending. What they did was make the economy, unemployment, the housing market etc. a total disaster. In November, I hope the voters will let them all know what a total bunch of screw-up's they are.

I really do want to see the unemployment numbers grow by a huge amount within the Democrat party ranks.

Obama Goes To U.N. - Over "Unionization Rights"

Obama reports America to the UN claiming that difficulty in forming a union in this country is a human rights abuse.

Obama does not like America, at least not the way it was before he took office. To Obama, anything less than radical socialism is human rights abuse and he will try and go to the United Nations to force change. Recently Obama complained to the Human Rights Council about racism in America.

This latest whine to the U.N. is outrageous. The U.N. does not control this country, at least the last time I checked. The U.N. does not have a say concerning domestic matters within our borders or our laws. The U.N. is a worthless organization.

The Obama administration has declared unionization a human right and indirectly equated it to freedom of speech, freedom of religion and other normal human rights. Unions were gradually becoming a thing of the past until Obama occupied the White House. In Obama’s warped mind, he gets to trash America at the U.N. while also pleasing his biggest backers, the unions.

Blog author's comments - Barack Hussein Obama has ceased to surprise me with his radical goals and actions. His latest attempt to unionize many businesses will not create more jobs. It will have just the opposite affect.

Obama wants more control and he wants to see people who could not otherwise land a job for a decent salary, end up in a unionized job. Once there - it is almost impossible to get rid of a worthless employee.

Making it very easy for unions to organize workers is now a stated U.S human rights goal. The primary bill among the 'several bills' the Obama administration is referring to is the ironically named Employee Free Choice Act which is commonly called 'Card Check'.

This bill does away with secret ballot elections for unionization. When a union gets over 50% cards signed, they have won. There is no election.

Supporters of the bill claim it still allows an election to be called when 30% have signed cards (same as current law), but only the union doing the organizing can petition for an election.

Anti-union workers and businesses don't have that right... stripping workers of their right to a secret ballot vote is now a stated U.S. human rights goal.

Journalist - Voter Anger is About Racism, Fear of a White Minority

Cynthia Tucker: Voter Anger Is About Racism - 'Fear of a White Minority' (This is the opinion of a black liberal journalist)

Blog author's comments - Are you sick and tired of being called a racist because you don't agree with Barack Obama?

My fellow Americans, this blogger gives you another example of the liberal MSM: Cynthia Tucker from the Atlanta Journal - Constitution.

I must assume from her comments, she believes that Obama's radical policies and agenda, plus out of control spending and the constant decline in our economy, has nothing to do with the growing discontent with him.

Ms. Tucker, there were many more white folks that put Obama in office than blacks. It would not enter your little mind that Obama is in over his head and has done nothing positive for this country.

If we happen to be white and we don't agree with him, it is only because he is a black president?

Ms. Tucker, it's obvious you are just another liberal journalist, and the one who is the racist!

Palin - Advice For GOP & Tough Words For MSM

Sarah Palin On What The GOP Must Do and Tough Words For The Main Stream Media

In the first half the interview with Sean Hannity, Sarah Palin says that Republicans must ensure that the public understands that cutting taxes and getting the government out of the way is the best way to fix our economy.

They must communicate that they will fight against the 'Obama-Pelosi-Reid' agenda. She uses words like 'aggressive' and 'enthusiastic' when discussing the approach Republicans must take this year when communicating these ideas, and she is correct! This is exactly what we conservatives want to see.

We want them to stand up and defend what we know is right and to stop letting the Democrats win the debate in the public arena. We know that we can win the argument, but we must effectively make the argument.

In the second half of the interview, Palin takes on the reporters in the MSM who would just as soon trash her and other Republicans with anonymous sources than actually search for the truth.

Blog author's comments - What Sarah Palin is saying for the most part is correct. Most of us who follow the political scene closely know this. But, who are the Republican leaders and will they do what many of us know must be done to begin to change the tide of the now pathetic economy?

At this point I have not seen our elected officials doing what Palin says should be done. Sarah Palin has become a much more polished spokesperson for the conservative party during the past year, but she is not a member of the House or Senate.

If some power is won in November by the Republicans, they had better be ready to show the voters that they can and will do a better job than they have done in the past.

If the GOP is able to do some positive things after the midterm elections, this must carry on beyond 2012. We have to remove Obama from office, he cannot remain to be a two term president.

No GZM - Make Ground Zero a National Memorial

Gingrich: Stop The Mosque - Make Ground Zero a National Battlefield Memorial

Newt Gingrich on Radical Islam, Sharia Law and the Global Jihad.

Blog author's comments - What Newt Gingrich said on this video and has been saying about Islam is true. Many of you may not believe so but Islam is at war with us. We are the enemy.

Those who will not stop the GZM travesty, in particular New York Mayor Bloomberg, NY State AG Cuomo and President Obama are either being politically correct or have their heads in the sand.

Political correctness does not work with Islam. Islam is at war with many people. Their t
wo main targets are Israel and the United States. Sadly, Israel will never have peace. Israel is surrounded by their enemies, and Obama does not seem to want to show the world that we will give Israel all the support they need to protect themselves.

No matter how much Obama and his regime bow to Islam, it will have no affect on the Muslims. Again, we are their enemy and I will never trust them. Those that do are fools, and if they are now the leaders of our country, I want to be rid of them as soon as possible.

I have posted about the GZM at least four times in the past few months. I will say once again that the Muslims reason for building the mosque so close to Ground Zero is for yet another triumph over us.

If they truly wanted to have peace with the United States, they would not have even considered this location for a new mosque.

Voted Obama? Embarrassed Yet?

Billboard buyer shares why he purchased 'Vote Obama?' sign.

OZARK, Mo. -- When it comes to politics, there may be as many opinions as cars cruising down U.S. 65. So, naturally, there are different reactions to a billboard south of Ozark that says "Voted Obama? Embarrassed yet?"

"I know the president didn't win down here, but there were a lot of people down here that voted for him, and I think I can speak for them and say we are not embarrassed yet," Matthew Patterson, executive director of the Greene County Democratic Central Committee, said in a telephone interview on Sunday.

"My partner and I felt lots of frustration here lately, and we liked that sign and we thought that was a reasonable question to ask," Steve Critchfield said in a telephone interview on Monday.

Critchfield and his business partner from Commercial One Brokers, a real estate firm in Branson, saw a similar sign online, bought it, and brought it to the Ozarks.

"I've certainly voted for people I'm embarrassed to say I've voted for," he said. "We're not naive enough to think that we wouldn't get someone to be upset. I'm just surprised how upset people are."

Critchfield says he's received death threats due to the sign; people accuse him of hate speech and racism. He insists the billboard was for something more American in the name of discourse, conversation, and old-fashioned debate.

"If everybody thinks President Obama's done a great job and they're very happy," he said, "then I guess they'd be buying billboards saying 'I'm proud to have voted for him.' That's what makes America great, isn't it?"

Blog author's comments - Hopefully the sign makers sell thousands of the above billboard. Apparently they are springing up in other states. I am a bit surprised that Obama has not made an attempt to stop this.

The business partners who purchased the sign were of course called racist. Whenever liberals don't care for an opinion which differs from their own, and it is aimed at Barack Hussein Obama, the race card is sure to appear.

This billboard is minor from the slamming of George W. Bush by the MSM during his presidency. They had a much larger audience of non-thinkers. Freedom to speak our opinions is what our forefathers fought so hard to give us. The Obama regime has tried to silence this whenever possible.

Let us hope the polls are accurate and there is significant change of power in Washington in November, and the Republicans use any power they may gain to their and our advantage.

This new campaign button should also be a big seller:

Obama - In Campaign Mode For November Election

President Obama on Monday chided Senate Republicans for engaging in “pure partisan politics’’ by blocking a bill that would offer tax breaks and ease credit to small businesses, and said the measure was necessary to boost hiring and economic growth.

On his first workday back at the White House after a 10-day vacation on Martha’s Vineyard and a trip to New Orleans on Sunday, Mr. Obama addressed the nation’s mounting economic anxieties in brief remarks from the Rose Garden. With the unemployment rate stuck above 9 percent, and the economic recovery all but stalled, he spent part of the morning huddled with his economic advisers.

“This bill has been languishing in the Senate for four months, held up by a partisan minority that won’t even allow it to go to a vote. That makes no sense,’’ Mr. Obama said, referring to the small business initiative. He added, “Holding this bill hostage is directly detrimental to our economic growth.’’

In response, the Senate Republican leader, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, upbraided Mr. Obama and Democrats for the state of the economy. “Instead of growing jobs as promised, Washington Democrats have grown the size of the national debt, the federal government and the unemployment rate,’’ Mr. McConnell said.

h/t: The Caucus

Blog author's comments - Obama is still blaming Bush on the economy: "It took nearly a decade to dig the hole that we're in."

The 'Liar in Chief' is officially into the campaign 'Cover His Ass' mode.

With regard to the mid-term election, Obama promised recovery but the Democrats know they are terminal.

19 months in office, 18 months after the passage of the disastrous Economic Stimulus, it's still Bush's fault. Obama has done nothing to help the economy but now with the mid-term election two months away, he plays his 'blame card' with Bush and the Republicans for all that is wrong.

Let us hope that if the GOP does regain some power in November, they will know what to do with it. Obama has to be a one term President. The country cannot stand eight years of this person!
